We have the following hours available:

AM Panel - working on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday – 9.30am – 12.30pm

Employees start on $14 per hour, rising to $15 per hour after six months.

These roles involve:

• Working individually and within a team to evaluate products within the food, drink and personal care industry
• Products range from food & beverages (including alcohol, meat & individual ingredients) through to personal care & household products (e.g. shampoo, skin care products)
• You will be taught how to generate sensory descriptive vocabulary as a group (relating to the taste, appearance, texture and smell of a product) and then individually evaluate products on these descriptors
• No experience necessary as full training training will be given

Requirements needed for this role:

• Good sensory acuity relating to smell and taste (this will be tested during a screening session)
• You should have the ability to follow detailed instructions
• You should be comfortable completing routine tasks quickly and accurately
• The ability to articulate yourselves in fluent English in front of others
• You must not have any dietary restrictions (e.g. vegetarian) & be happy to evaluate alcohol products when required
• You must not have any food intolerances/allergies

Supported by a team of territory sales and application scientists, you are responsible for overseeing and driving the sales and marketing of instruments, chromatography supplies, and reagent-based systems in Singapore, including:

• Assisting territory sales with technical sales visits, presentations and product demos
• Handling direct technical consultation with customers as required
• Contributing as a key team member on the new product evaluation team

Your key responsibilities include:

• Lead and grow the Business Intelligence function. Set structures for team effectiveness and foster career and skills growth among team members.
• Implement a business intelligence tool to analyze product usage, generate metrics, and provide recommendations for increased user adoption.
• Deliver data and regular reports and enhance business strategies for churn, retention, and uptake.
• Identify and propose process improvements to enhance product efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop dashboards and operational monitoring tools.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to test hypotheses and drive user adoption and product usage growth.
• Support other departments and teams within EVYD to build up their own data analytics capabilities and build dashboards where necessary.
• Identify, assess, procure, and implement a business intelligence or product operations tool.

Qualifications

• Provide strategic industry analysis and competitive intelligence.
• Function as the internal strategic consultant keeping global product teams abreast of industry issues/ trends.
• Market sizing and forecasting using secondary sources and internal databases.
• Analyse ambiguous data/information and present it clearly and crisply to product and business leaders.
• Provide Product capability comparisons with competitors and niche players offering in the marketplace and identify gaps, strengths, weaknesses, and differentiators.
• Provide support for new product concepts, ranging from market opportunity analysis to help in developing business cases.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

• 3-5 years of experience within product development, design, or as a product strategist/investment strategist with demonstrable track record of delivering successful outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of the asset management industry including investor types, distribution channels, competitor landscape, investment products/client experience is a plus.
• Commercial awareness of market dynamics, market evolution and of competitive landscape to ensure that products remain fit for purpose.
• Holds or studying towards CFA desirable.
• Excellent research and data analysis skills, with strong attention to detail
• Effective communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
