The Job/What You’ll Do:

AssetMark’s Compliance Internship Program provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands on experience in the areas of investment adviser compliance, legal, operations and project management, while developing a wide variety of technical and interpersonal skills at a financial institution. Interns will work with Department Leaders on challenging assignments related to regulatory projects, compliance policies and processes and procedures to gain a better understanding of what it means to be a compliance professional in the wealth management business. Throughout their 10-week internship experience, interns will develop a network of peers and mentors that will be a constant source of encouragement and advice.

In addition to the work experience, AssetMark encourages participation in the various networking and community service events that it sponsors. Job Overview:

The role of the Enterprise Internal Business Development Officer (IBDO), Financial Institutions is to be the sales partner to the Enterprise External Business Development Officer (EBDO), Financial Institutions. They are responsible for driving outsized performance in the recruitment of new bank and credit union wealth management relationships to LPL Financial. This role will provide exposure throughout LPL, while supporting the end-to-end process of onboarding a new financial institution.

This position is designed for an individual with a background in Business-to-Business sales. Skills required include: organizational, communication, and ability to prioritize while executing quickly.  Having a strong work ethic, being an effective communicator, strong project management skills and a sense of diplomacy will be imperative to the success of in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with EBDO to add prospective Financial Institutions into the pipeline

• Partner with EBDO to provide solutions and strategies in efforts to move prospective Financial Institutions through the pipeline

• Schedule and prepare Home Office Vist (HOV) and Field Office Visit (FOV) meeting checklists; including agenda, internal partner coordination, and effective meeting planning

• Coordinate meeting follow-up items and draft responses to be sent to prospective financial institution

• Execute upon agenda delivery for all external and internal meetings and partner with sales strategy team to deliver effective content for prospective financial institution engagements

• Draft and maintain prospect workbook and enterprise prospect profile documenting key facts and decisions of all prospective financial institution in the pipeline

• Attend weekly transition calls for committed financial institutions

• Request draft contracts, amendments and non-disclosure agreement within the legal portal

• Input contract accommodations in onboarding system once financial institution joins LPL

• Disburse onboarding form upon contract execute to establish institution ID

• Execute transition assistance disbursement process

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. This position is also eligible to earn sales incentive compensation. HRGO are seeking an International FLT Planner. You need to have previous experience in this role, a basic understand of UK/EU customs procedures would be advantageous and at least three years' experience in the haulage / freight forwarding industry.
For this position you should have high attention to detail, be able to work in a pressured environment and have strong analytical, organisational and excellent communication skills. Have a good understanding of all aspects of fleet and driver management, scheduling / planning , WTD and tachographs.

Duties Include -

Planning of vehicles, taking load factors, customer opening hours, driving hours and all other legal requirements into consideration
Profit & Loss responsibility
Supervision and control on a daily basis to ensure that collection and deliveries are carried out, as per instruction
Timely and effective communication between office, customers, sub-contractors, drivers and any other parties involved in the process
Using own initiative to make decisions relevant to your area of control
General administration
Commercial representation
Assist in other areas within the business, as and when required

Salary £31,549.52

Monday - Friday 8.30 until 5.30 with an hour for lunch.
