Role Overview
Ankura’s Construction Disputes & Advisory practice is seeking a Senior Director to support work across the Canadian market, but may require travel. As a Senior Director in Ankura’s Construction Disputes & Advisory group, you will manage analyses and continue to develop analytical skills while being immersed in the world of client services. Construction Senior Directors assist our experts in developing and managing the detailed analyses required to provide the best solutions for our clients. Senior Directors perform and manage project schedule, cost, productivity and statistical analyses as well as assist with review of key project issues through document review and database creation/management. Senior Directors usually have 7 - 10 years of related work experience.
Responsibilities:
Developing, managing and supporting detailed analyses of project schedule delays, cost overruns, productivity, contracts, change orders and other issues related to design and construction
Assisting in the research and analyzing project cost records
Analyzing financial statements and other pertinent documentation
Using Ankura’s proprietary tools in the development of claim methodology and work product
Developing computer models of schedules, contractor production rates and costs using various software packages
Assisting with data gathering activities including document review and supervision, and quality control of data entry activities

Ability to research, including the use of the internet and other information sources, and a solid knowledge base in their course of study

We are looking for a talented Director of VIP and Club Operations in APAC who ispassionate about hospitality and nightlife. You will lead the Japan and Singapore team for all the Zouk Group club and bar brands in both countries and look to create original and unique experiences for each venue.
As hospitality is key, guest management and customer touchpoints are essential and will be a significant focus. As an expert in your field, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest trends and happenings in and around our industry. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views and ethos effectively.
You are also accountable for the overall operational performance and success of the VIP department. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various departments, such as operations, marketing, and other channels, to ensure the delivery of an unparalleled guest experience within a market-differentiated, high-energy atmosphere. You will prioritize the needs of VVIP and VIP guests, crafting personalized experiences and fostering a sense of fun and excitement for all visitors.
Ultimately, you will be driving high-performance levels of staff to produce excellent customer engagement consistently. Last but certainly not least, a love for music, nightlife, hospitality, F&B, and entertainment is advantageous - these are the things we live and breathe daily.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Things You’ll Own
· Lead the operations of Zouk Club, Capital, Phuture, and RedTail by Zouk in Singapore, along with Zouk Club in Japan.
· Develop and execute strategic business initiatives, ensuring the attainment of each business's KPIs.
· Manage and review P&L reports consistently, providing effective solutions for operational matters.
· Analyze venue performance in comparison to historical data and industry standards.
· Enhance stock systems and deliver weekly and monthly performance reports to Management.
· Oversee VIP relations comprehensively, covering public relations, reservations, scheduling, staffing, and administrative tasks.
· Cultivate a professional, upscale, and inclusive environment for diverse guests.
· Establish and nurture valued relationships with guests, expanding nightly events through personal communication and marketing efforts.
· Build sustainable relationships with key clients, overseeing recruitment, training, and service delivery for hostesses, promoter girls, and bottle service crew.
· Develop and lead a core VIP management team, focused on delivering a differentiated value proposition to privileged guests.
· Promote special club events effectively to customers.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum 8 years of operations knowledge in the club/bar industry
· Excellent understanding of financial statements
· Detail-minded with excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
· Exceptional service orientation and outstanding interpersonal skills to engage effectively with VIP guests.
· Excellent command of written and spoken English for clear communication across all levels.
· Strong leadership abilities, including performance management and coaching skills, to inspire and motivate the VIP team.
