The Senior Cloud FinOps Analyst will work with a wide range of stakeholders to promote a culture of cost accountability and awareness for Experian’s cloud consumption. Key areas the role will support, include financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting, consumption analysis and KPIs, showback and analytics, and capacity 

Cloud Financial Management 

• Develop dashboards and reports to analyze, monitor, report on Experian’s consumption of Cloud and related services to proactively identify opportunities for optimization. 

• Monitor cloud consumption at the account level to detect, investigate, manage anomalies alerts and unplanned spikes

The team handles data for multiple major clients in the UK finance industry.. We work with some of the biggest lenders in the UK market across a range of products including Cards, Loans, Savings and Current Accounts to give consumers a range of products to improve their financial wellbeing – whilst maintaining healthy commercial relationships with banks, building societies and comparison sites.

We’re looking for an applicant with a keen eye for detail, who thrives in a high-paced environment communicating with internal and external stakeholders – essentially owning product onboarding processes from a data perspective. This would be a great entry-level role for an applicant wishing to develop their client liaison skills, as well as gaining experience in the field of product data within a financial services space.

The team’s day-to-day work spans from high-level commercial onboarding, down to data auditing and updates. The 6-member team predominantly work from a bespoke user portal, where the data is held to display on each website. The daily tasks generally involve;

• Commercial onboarding with banks and building societies onto our supported comparison sites. You would have direct contact with lenders to gather their product data and perform testing QA on the required sites. You would also work closely with internal teams to ensure the product functions correctly and to the lender’s consent.
• Updating product listings through our user portal. The team also audit data that originates from any data change, and initiate audits across our financial products to ensure the data is current and up-to-date.
