Support the General Manager and thereby the Deputy Head of Operations, to operationally manage service resources. It is essential the post holder is qualified to at least first-degree level, has significant trial management experience of managing diabetes single/multi-site studies, including CTIMP trials and has expertise in the field of finance and contract management. A substantial understanding of the research authorisation process, and regulatory frameworks as applied to research, is required as are highly developed presentation and communication skills. It is expected the post will undertake local, national and international travel to attend investigator meetings, carry out audits or attend business meetings. Whilst typical hours are Monday to Friday, a flexible approach to working hours is essential especially in relation to national and international travel.
