Job Description
1. Manufacturing:
- Oversee the process of manufacturing, especially on fabrication cylinder process (molding and machine set-up), spray painting process, powder filling process, final assembly, fire hose reel process, and other products.
- Ensure the material availability for manufacturing process planning before creating the job order.
- Assist provide on-the-job training to subordinates about day-to-day activities.
- Assist in monitoring daily manufacturing records and verifying records in the “Overall Equipment Effectiveness” (OEE) system.
- Monitor and check nonconformance products, “Discrepant Material Report (DMR) during the in-process for QAQC department verification and inspection purposes.
- Monitor and minimize product rework and rejection.
- Identify the cause of product failure and recommend a “Corrective Action Request” (CAR).
- Coordinate with the QAQC department and other departments, especially on items relating to product quality and improvement.
- Overseeing subordinates; providing guidance and delegation.
- Find a supplier (immediate request) to purchase special spare parts machines, molding parts, tools, etc.
- Ensure daily work assignments are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure the work environment meets health & safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Involve in new product development
- Perform other duties assigned
2. Production:
- Oversee the production assembly process, especially on production assembly product, Gas filling process, e-feis application process (for BOMBA), and product servicing process.
- Ensure the material availability for production assembly, servicing, and repair planning before creating job orders.
- Assist provide on-the-job training to subordinates about day-to-day activities.
- Assist in monitoring daily production records and verifying records in the “Overall Equipment Effectiveness” (OEE) system.
- Monitor and check nonconformance products, “Discrepant Material Report (DMR) during the in-process for QAQC department verification and inspection purposes.
- Monitor and minimize product rework and rejection rate.
- Identify the cause of product failure and recommend a “Corrective Action Request” (CAR).
- Coordinate with the QAQC and other departments, especially on product quality and improvement items.

3. Service & Maintenance:
- Oversee all the maintenance work and operation.
- Maintain all machinery, overhead cranes, forklifts, and compressors and ensure their working standards.
- Person in charge of forklift maintenance.
- Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
- Ensure the material availability for fabrication, servicing, and repair planning
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and update maintenance records.
- Identify the cause of product failure and recommend corrective action.
- Provide on-the-job training to subordinates about day-to-day activities.
- Overseeing subordinates; providing guidance and delegation.
- Find a supplier (immediate request) to purchase special spare parts machines, molding parts, tools, and for unplanned maintenance or emergency issues.
- Ensure daily work assignments are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure the work environment is safe, secure, and healthy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Participate in safety committee meetings.
- Perform other duties assigned.
- Oversee the process of manufacturing/production.
- Assist in preparing fabrication jobs for products, etc.
- Involve in new product development.
Job Requirements:
- SPM with proven experience in supervisory role or Diploma in engineering, manufacturing, production or similar capacity
- At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, moulding, and similar related fields
- Possess leadership qualities and able to work closely and supervise a team of local and foreign employees in carrying out their daily job responsibilities.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Fast learner and willing to learn
- Able to work in fast-paced environment and under pressure

In line with that, we’ve also obtained our TNB SGP Certification (year 2014 & 2018) and in no complacency, we’ve also achieved our first UL Approval with our priced product UNIQUE227 (HFC-227ea) and we’re proud to say that till date we are recognized as one of the market leaders in Malaysia.
