Role Responsibilities:
Health & Safety:

• Overall Management responsibilities for Health & Safety in their designated areas
• Ensure operators are working in a risk free environment, wearing the correct PPE and are compliant in company H & S requirements
• Review risk assessments & SOP's to ensure they are up to date, user friendly and contain the correct information/ settings
• Report & investigate incidents / accidents and follow up with a full report within 24hrs

Quality/ Technical:

• Actively promote a "right first time" environment
• Ensure food safety is followed in the production of products
• Ensure area standards are set and maintained
• Ensure Quality samples represent against the final production requirement with sign off and double sign off from another team member
• Assist in NC/CAPA investigations as required
• Ensure that all paperwork is correctly filled out in a timely manner & audit to ensure right first time
• Own responsibility of line clearance for manufacturing/packaging as per SOP372

Staff development:

• Coaching staff and development of teams and to review progress
• Identify training needed for self and team

Continuous improvement:

• Support and guide team to ensure improvements are delivered
• Identify potential areas of improvement by reviewing the top 3 trends weekly with SM and identifying an action plan to improve
• Effectively measure changeovers to identify improvements (Circa 20%)
• Improve productivity trends by 10%

POSITION OBJECTIVES
This position is responsible for planning, organizing and directing of all human resource functions for the HR Dept. • Presents City policy and human resources matters to the Department director, employee groups, union representatives and/or individual employees.

• Conducts or oversees periodic wage surveys and related matters.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Directly supervises all employees assigned to the Human Resources Division.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and training new employees; planning, assigning, directing and reviewing work; mentoring, motivating, coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.

Education and Experience
• Graduation from an accredited four-year college with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Public or Business Administration or a related field.
• At least seven years experience of a progressively responsible nature (preferably in the public sector) in human resources management
• At least five years of experience in a managerial/supervisory capacity
 

Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations
o Professional Human Resources certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred
o Must hold a valid Florida Driver’s License.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Knowledge of the concepts and principles of public human resource administration including labor relations and collective bargaining, position classification, salary and benefits administration, and employee skills training.
• Thorough knowledge of the legal aspects of labor relations, employment, EEO issues, workers’ compensation, unemployment insurance, employment records and employee benefit programs.
• Ability to effectively coordinate and work with all groups of people including division and department heads, elected officials, outside agencies, labor unions and the general public.
• Ability to organize, track and prioritize multiple duties and projects to meet deadlines.

Purpose of the role:
To support the Maintenance Manager in guaranteeing the maintenance of technical efficiency and safety level of the plants, for the achievement of aims related to production in accordance with the Group's policies.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all plants maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with the safety, environment and product's safety provisions and with the procedures encompassed by the ISO 9001 Quality System
• Support the Maintenance Manager in the definition of the maintenance budget
• Work in order to pursue the established budget aims
• Collaborate with the PM/CNV Production Manager in order to guarantee the correct functioning of productive lines
• Support the Maintenance Manager in guaranteeing efficiency in the organisation of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance interventions
• Constantly seek innovative solutions for the optimisation of productive plants and for the improvement of maintenance efficiency

• Support the Maintenance Manager in the management of maintenance activities carried out by external firms in accordance with the "Corporate Contracting Agreement"
• Collaborate with the Spare Parts Warehouse Supervisor in order to ensure the efficiency of maintenance activities
• Support the Maintenance Manager in the management of the personnel in charge of maintenance
• Effectively intervene in the activity of installation of new equipment
• Support the Maintenance Manager in the collaboration with the Purchasing Department
• Promote a safety-bound corporate culture
• Promote the Corporate Principles and Values

Candidates will need to have proven previous experience in a similar position and from a Manufacturing background.

Your new role
Your new role will be to manage a small service that supports two males with their days. As the manager, you will work alongside and support the staff team of six to create the most successful care environment. You will do this by creating rotas, care plans, reviewing care plans, developing inductions and working alongside the locality support manager.
If you haven't yet been a manager and this would be your first step into managing the service, there is a lot of support on offer from both the locality manager and the deputy locality manager as well as the managers in the other services.
The shift patterns:
• 8 am -3 pm
• 3 pm -10 pm
• 10pm -8am


What you'll need to succeed
• You will be someone with a willingness to learn and ready to take the next step in management or next step to service manager.
• Ideally you will have a QCF Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or will be working towards this qualification.

What you'll need to succeed

• A Level 3 Social Care Diploma or equivalent
• Experience of leading a team within a care setting
• Experience in a residential short break or children's services
• Experience of clear, concise record keeping via IT systems
• Understanding of GDPR, Safeguarding and relevant policies
• A clean driving license with access to a car with business insurance is essential

• Salary: £27,500 per annum plus minimum sleep allowance of £1200 per year
• Contract/Hours: Secondment, Full-time – 37 hours per week (starting 16th October 2023-1st December 2024)
