International Primary/Secondary Specialist Mathematics and Computing Homeroom Teacher

International Primary/Secondary Specialist Mathematics and Computing Homeroom Teacher

Duties & Responsibilities:

• To draft schemes of work for Mathematics and Computing for Primary, Secondary and IGCSE students following the Cambridge Curriculum
• Teaching, planning, and implementing Cambridge curriculum for Mathematics and computing to Primary, Secondary and IGCSE students.
• ECA/CCA & Student support from 3.30 pm onwards.
• Any other duties as assigned by the principal and management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Education from a reputed university in Singapore or abroad and a registered Teacher qualification such as QTS or equivalent.
• At least 3 years experience in teaching Cambridge Primary and Cambridge Lower Secondary Computing and Mathematics.
• Ability to teach computer coding languages such as Scratch or Python.
• At least 3 years experience teaching in an international school.

•  Ownership of assigned project(s) within the R & D department from the design and approach of the project up to the summary and recommendations based on findings.
• To present findings back to relevant stakeholders
• Support in setting up and training of QDA panel
• Support set up and briefing of sensory and consumer studies
• Support in recruitment and maintenance of Discrimination panel within JDE
• Conduct sensory tests and analyse data using various statistical tools and sensory software
• Support and lead development projects with the support of line manager
• Collaborate and support with team members in day to day
• Support in coffee tastings
• To follow the company’s rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support organization's team with background research on personalities and countries of interest, areas of interest of international agreements, international platforms and international trends and developments in digital economy.
• Assist on coordinating engagements with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in coordinating, and note-taking where relevant, negotiation with other international stakeholders on the organization's events on mid-year which require whole-of-organization's efforts and a significant manpower contribution.
• Provide administrative support for the organization's team.

International School Homeroom Teacher (English, Maths, Science and IPC）

Teach students from Grades 3-4 or 5 (Ages 8-10)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Teaching, planning, and implementing UK national curriculum English/Maths/Science and IPC to Primary School students.
• Homeroom teacher teaching grades 3, 4 or 5 (ages 8-10)
• ECA/CCA & Student support from 3.30 pm onwards.
• Any other duties as assigned by the principal and management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Education from a reputed university in Singapore or abroad and a registered Teacher qualification such as QTS or equivalent.
• At least 2- 5 years experience as an IPC English teacher in an international school setting.
• Ability to teach Primary English, Mathematics and Science across grades.
• Ability to draft schemes of work for English, Mathematics and Science for Primary School.
• The ability to teach digital literacy to Primary School students will be an added advantage.
• Prior experience in the IPC curriculum is an added advantage.
• Any other duties as assigned by the school management.
