- £73,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

As a result of this, we are now seeking an experienced Corporate & Professional Services (C&PS) Category Manager to provide specialist category and market expertise to expertise to identify benefits, mitigate risks and drive best value from Serco’s spend and supply base globally.
You will be support with procurement activity across the C&PS category including travel, resourcing, insurance, legal, audit, consultancy, professional services, learning and development, and other HR related services.
As part of this you’ll:
- Contribute to the global category management of the C&PS category from strategy creation through to the delivery of business outcomes and performance
- Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a holistic and rounded knowledge of a supplier’s performance and risk across Serco
- Lead and manage continuous improvement projects with existing suppliers
- Monitor supplier risk and performance through reporting tools and business feedback
- Collaborate with Procurement Business Partners to ensure supplier management activities, category strategies and stakeholder priorities are aligned and to drive compliance to the use of preferred suppliers
- Ensure that benefits are recognised by key stakeholders to allow benefit delivery
What you’ll need to do the role:
- CIPS qualified or working towards CIPS qualification
- A strong track record of Corporate & Professional Services category management, effecting change and continuous improvement through creation and implementation of innovative category strategies and effective supplier relationships
- Expert Corporate & Professional Services category and market knowledge
- Demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining strong senior stakeholder relationships up to MD and Board level
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand business needs and how to manage supplier relationships
