About the Position
The Facilities Manager will be responsible to oversee all building-related activities including to preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning. The post holder will be well-organized and able to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced consultant to support and contribute to the implementation of the System-Based Theory of Change related to the Asia-Africa BlueTech Superhighway project. The project aims to transform the lives of stakeholders in aquatic food systems across Africa and Asia, addressing the challenge of feeding 9.8 billion people by 2050 in a sustainable and climate-resilient manner. Your primary goal will be to work with WorldFish scientists and international partners in designing and conducting research to understand drivers of change and constraints (social, economic, environmental, institutional and policy) around Aquatic Food Systems within a system-based theory of change process.
Scope of Work
The consultant will provide support to the System-based Theory of Change (ToC) workshops and process that is taking place in WorldFish in relation to the AABS project in Bangladesh, Mozambique, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Kenya.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced consultant to provide technical support in fisheries post-harvest loss assessment and reduction, value chain upgrading, and enhancing sustainable livelihoods in line with project objectives for Tanzania.
The Consultant will play a critical role in enhancing the effectiveness of post-harvest management practices within the fisheries sector of Tanzania as part of the Asia-Africa Blue-Tech Superhighway project. S/he will provide technical expertise and guidance on reducing post-harvest losses, upgrading value chains, and implementing sustainable practices that promote gender equity and equality in small-scale fisheries. The Consultant's contributions will be instrumental in achieving the project's goal of sustainable livelihoods and strengthened value chains for smallholder fishers.
