Rodger Constructions is eagerly seeking two Civil Engineers with a zeal for subdivision and road development projects. This pivotal role offers the unique opportunity to oversee a range of projects from inception to fruition. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a profound dedication to enhancing civil engineering practices, possess outstanding leadership abilities, and exhibit a keen interest in contributing to the infrastructural development of the Warrnambool region.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead comprehensive planning, execution, and successful completion of both subdivision and road development projects.
Plan and design construction projects, conduct site analysis, read plans efficiently, estimate costs, oversee construction, draft works programs, implement quality control, ensure environmental compliance, and maintain project documentation.
Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities to ensure project objectives are met.
Ensure all projects comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards.
Provide inspirational leadership to project teams, cultivating a culture of high performance and collaboration.
Manage budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within cost constraints.
Employ innovative problem-solving techniques to navigate project challenges.
Maintain transparent communication with senior management regarding project progress, risks, and outcomes.

About You:

Demonstrated experience in civil construction, with specific expertise in subdivisions and road development projects.
Exceptional leadership capabilities and team management skills.
Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
Proven track record of successful project management in civil engineering.
A preference for hands-on experience and competency in the field over formal qualifications.
Attributes such as honesty, reliability, and a strong work ethic are essential.

Assistant Team Leader – Civil Litigation (Hybrid) needed in Harrow, £30.59ph PAYE - Reference: 012163

• To support the development of HB Public Law jointly with the other Team Leaders and Assistant Team Leaders. Specifically this will include:
  • To advise on matters arising in all areas of civil litigation, including housing, homelessness and licensing, covering multiple clients, including local authorities casework which includes complex corporate projects.
  • To advise on high profile matters, including advising elected members at council meetings in a proactive and politically sensitive manner.
  • To act as a senior liaison point for clients and to line manage, provide professional support, supervision and development for more junior colleagues in civil litigation.
  • To support the Team Leader in the running and development of the team, including deputising in the Team Leader’s absence.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
