Job Responsibilities :

• Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialised role.
• Maintaining and enhancing the performance of existing database programs. Perform performance tuning: indexing, table partitioning, data archiving and purging.

Pre-Requisites :

• At least 5 years working experience as a Database Administrator, Database Engineer, or related field.
• BS degree in a computer discipline or relevant certification
• Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
• Expertise in database server specification, performance tuning, analysis and optimization
• Strong Experience in database disaster recovery planning and recovery
• Strong knowledge of database security and user access control
• Ability to work with database developers, engineers, and different operations and applications engineering teams to help them to identify, analyse, and resolve database performance issues.
• Experience with AWS desired: monitoring database by AWS CloudWatch, performance insight and monitoring tools.

Senior Network/Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

• As the Senior Network Administrator you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the project network and security infrastructure
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize network efficiency and reliability

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$89,500-$188,000

We are seeking Senior Software Engineer/s with a focus on the backend (Ideally with solid AWS experience) who are excited to help us expand our product offerings. You will be given the opportunity to work on some Greenfield projects and modern technology.

You will also work collaboratively with some great engineers in other areas such as our Platform and SRE teams to make sure our DXP services perform and scale well.

What do I need?

• Commercial experience building and maintaining Typescript/JavaScript applications
• Experience working with JS frameworks like React and NodeJS
• Exposure to building or using either dedicated-backend or public APIs
• Experience working with relational databases would be highly beneficial
• Experience working with CI/CD or at-least exposure to and a desire to gain more experience

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS (CDK, CloudFormation) would be beneficial or IAC concepts

• Support the development of a Event’s strategy and direction, through idea generation to enrich the value proposition Informa Markets provides

• Support the design of the Event experience, ensuring a high quality level of delivery in support of the Event’s strategy and customer needs

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will ensure the highest quality possible of our software delivery by implementing and maintaining test automation scripts. Working alongside product managers and developers, you will also enhance our quality engineering process by identifying gaps and implementing solutions to address them. Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases for backend and frontend development.
• Improve and maintain automation test coverage to reduce manual effort during day-to-day quality engineering.
• Identify edge cases and ensure software robustness before production deployment.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, developers, and fellow quality engineers to design test suites.
• Be involved in the entirety of the software development journey right from the inception of new features.
• Create exhaustive documentation of test reports to provide complete visibility to the stakeholders.
• Mentor the team by having tech discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Actively contribute to the hiring and onboarding process.
• Own the quality of Moladin deliverables in the form of services, web applications, and mobile applications.

• More than 4 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in software test automation.
• Expertise in web and mobile application testing using test automation frameworks such as Cypress or WebdriverIO.
• Familiar with test management tools such as Allure TestOps, JIRA, or TestRail.
• Basic knowledge of Javascript and SQL.
• Exposure to the Agile development process, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, and cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of software performance and security testing is a plus.
• Prior experience in the financial services industry is preferred.

About the role

• Join our Performance & Observability team as the go-to Observability expert.  
• Use your technical expertise to review our current Observability needs and map out a strategy that is aligned with our overall architecture.
