Position: Executive, Defect Analysis Engineer LAE
Location: AirAsia Operations Center - Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia

Key Responsibilities:
- Defect Identification: Review AMOS and/or PFR on a daily basis to identify defects with the potential to affect our Aircraft On Ground (AOG) status.
- Trend Analysis: Keep a record of repetitive defects and chronicle them, helping us spot areas for improvement and avoid recurring delays caused by the same issues.
- Preventing Recurring Delays: Review technical delays to prevent them from happening again due to the same defects.
- Documentation and Preparation: Collect all necessary documents, data, spares, and tools related to defects, ensuring our maintenance teams have everything required for efficient issue resolution.
- Providing Solutions: Offer expert advice to our maintenance teams, guiding them toward the best solutions for effective repairs.
- Data Analysis: Conduct statistical data analysis for delays and defects on a weekly and monthly basis, contributing to our ongoing improvement efforts.
- Trend Identification: Conduct monthly reviews to pinpoint trends, repetitive component failure rates, and high failure areas, all aimed at enhancing dispatch reliability and reducing costs.
- Health Monitoring: Utilize our web-based health monitoring program to oversee defects across our entire aircraft fleet during flights.
Qualifications:
- AMEL License: Hold an A-320 AMEL license, showcasing your expertise in aircraft maintenance.
- Education: Possess a diploma's degree in Aircraft Engineering, demonstrating your strong technical background.
- Experience: Bring a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a related role, reflecting your ability to handle aircraft defects effectively.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills, backed by solid technical knowledge.
- Service Orientation: Embrace a versatile and service-oriented mindset, understanding the critical role you play in ensuring safe flights.
- Safety Awareness: Have a good understanding of safety guidelines, prioritizing the well-being of our passengers and crew.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral, enabling effective collaboration.
