Job Description:

Design game UI system interface and overall visual design packaging that meets the interactive principles according to the requirements of the product team.

Design UI interface design graphics.

Slice out and optimise the UI assets for integration.

Design and draw game logos, in-game icons, buttons, and other artistic materials.

Conceptualize the dynamic effects for UI interfaces.

Job Requirements:

5 years of experience in mobile game UI/UX production,

Candidates with in full end to end project development experience advantageous

Keen eye for aesthetics and mature design experience and methods.

Have a deep understanding of interaction design and be able to independently complete the UI/UX framework design for the entire game.

Rich gaming experience, able to propose corresponding UI solutions for different game categories, and be proficient in casual cartoon mobile games (preferred).

Familiar with UI animation and VFX is a plus.

Our UI/UX designers are the champions of the end-user, crafting and guiding the user experience for each of our games and products. You’ll work closely with game designers, artists, and engineers to conceptualize, design, and iterate in support of all gameplay features and systems, with the ultimate objective being to deliver the world’s most delightful arcade experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Work with game designers to translate game system requirements into amazing user experiences
• Craft a delightful and consistent user flow for each product’s target platforms (VR, arcade cabinet, desktop, tablet, phone, etc…)
• Create wireframes, concept sketches to support purposed UI interaction models
• Leverage a deep understanding of the product vision to create remarkable visual identities and design languages that support the user experience
• Work collaboratively with project teams, and iterate using feedback and user testing to drive and polish features to a high-quality state
• Collaborate with a team of artists and engineers to carry design from concept into final implementation
• Craft UX artifacts to communicate solutions (flows, wireframes, prototypes, etc.)
• Design and visualize user interface screens, transitions, animations, and VFX.

Experience:

• A minimum of 5+ years’ experience working as a UI/UX designer in gaming, or related digital interaction design field
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of usability design principals
• Deep understanding of information hierarchy, layout design, UX process, and usability design principles
• Awareness of current trends in user interface design
• Ability to make independent creative decisions, get stakeholder buy-in, and work with a team to execute

Responsibilities

Assisting in accomplishing project desig activities in preparing piping layouts, general arrangement, and details in 2D or 3D.

Knowledge and application of company engineering design, 3D modelling, and CAD drafting.

Familiarization with Project scope, Specification, and Design criteria.

Prepares complete sets of complex engineering drawings, including detailed and fabrication drawings from multiple views.

Analyzing complex designs and evaluating equipment systems creates product layouts and generates new designs.

Prepares layout design of equipment, components, structures, and systems, using past references where possible and standard designs and drawings, manufacturer’s catalogs, and technical guides.

Performs final drafting review to ensure comprehensive dimensional data is provided for engineering or fabrication purposes. Reviews to ascertain accuracy, completeness, and conformance to relevant drafting designs, component weights, and system standards.

Prepares documentation, information, and communication such as Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), engineering specifications, design reports, MTO, and required system documentation by relevant policies and procedures.

Ensures that the drawings provide dimensional tolerances as required and defined or designed by the manufacturers or Engineers to ensure proper assembly fit.

Prepares drawings and presentation slides as part of technical specifications and presentations for a project proposal.

Performs administrative duties and design-related tasks such as transferring drawings from computer to printing hardcopy as assigned.

Prepares time estimates for review before the commencement of assigned work. When required, compiles and analyzes the data, compute quantities, and determine materials requirement.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 10years working in an offshore or onshore plant design role in a 2D and 3D CAD design environment and demonstrated proficiency with Auto CAD / Aveva E3D and with material take-off. Knowledge of standard drafting and 3D modeling techniques applicable to the offshore industry.
