Cloud Engineers are responsible for the design and implementation of business applications in the cloud. As a SME, you will be taking the lead in bridging the gaps between complex business problems and providing solutions on cloud, contributing knowledge and awareness of what is possible in cloud computing to other members of the team. You will be working with other members of a technology team, including line of business users, application specialists, developers, infrastructure engineers and security analysts. You will ensure that the right technologies are selected and implemented to provide solutions to business needs balancing competing requirements including application requirements, timeline, regulatory approvals and budget.

Job Responsibilities:

• Utilize the full gamut of IAAS, PAAS, and SAAS or a mixture to fit business needs, budgets, and operational efficiency
• To assess and recommend solution architectures and technologies
• Plan cloud implementations and phase out deliverables taking into account business requirements, dependencies, and risk
• Must be hands-on and able to configure solutions in the cloud in at least one Cloud Provider (AWS/GCP/Azure/Huawei Cloud/Alibaba Cloud)
• Create and maintain documentation to supplement standard vendor documentation to ensure knowledge capture
• Work closely with the Information Security team to ensure the applications and solutions designed and deployed are secure and compliant

Job Requirements:

• At least an Associate level certification in any one of AWS/GCP/Azure/Huawei Cloud/Alibaba Cloud
