We are looking to add a Software Development Engineering Co-Op to our team to not only get exposure to systems and practices but to help drive the EE mission. The ideal candidate will be someone that has experience or interest in large scale systems, building services from the ground up, ensuring quality is baked in, and experience with mentoring other engineers crossed different roles. Partnering with other EE teams as well as external product teams as necessary, this individual will have the ability to discover, evaluate, and drive solutions from start to finish.
Our program starts on July 15, 2024 and ends on December 13, 2024. All applicants must be available to work full-time for the entire duration of the program and must be willing to relocate to Seattle, WA.
Here’s What You’ll Do
Contribute to engineering projects that cross multiple functional spaces in a dynamic, fast-moving, and agile environment.
Work closely with customers, partners, and leadership to understand business needs.
Create innovative and intuitive solutions to transform business needs, including full-stack applications.
Co-own your teams’ products and services and drive efficiencies in application performance, resiliency, usability, and cost.
Contribute to creating and managing solutions that drive automation and analytics.
Deliver code enhancements for software builds which may include refactoring or deprecating existing code.
Communicate effectively to your team about timelines to deliver your work efficiently and reliability.
Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Working toward a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technology
A minimum of 1 years of relevant job experience (internship/co-op acceptable).
Educational or job-related experience with full-stack web application development.
Educational or job-related experience documenting technical systems and user workflows.
Indefinite right to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
Must be willing and able to relocate to Seattle, WA for the co-op

The PNT SA IV will support DoD CIO GPS/PNT Core Support Services enterprise goals, increase mission effectiveness, and deliver efficiencies. Additionally, the SA IV will analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve information systems and architectures within the requirements of the CIO GPS/PNT Task Order.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Assist DoD CIO in developing operational implementation policy, requirements, and guidelines for GPS and related PNT systems within the DoD PNT Enterprise.
Provide support in the areas of analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of software, systems, and technologies. Including the development, implementation, and maintenance of strategy, doctrine, standards, policies, and procedures.
Analyzes, designs, evaluates, and plans business architectures and information technology (IT) systems architectures to optimize the enterprise IT architecture.
Provides technical assistance on existing and new technology in all areas of IT.
Establishes goals and plans that meet project objective and directs the activities of more junior personnel or other staff as necessary.
Research, develo1pment, review, and coordination of Interagency Agreements and Memoranda of Understanding between the DoD and other Federal Departments and Agencies regarding non-DoD use of GPS or access to GPS PPS or other capabilities within the DoD PNT Enterprise.
Develop inputs to biennial updates of the Federal Radio navigation Plan (FRP) document; develop updates/replacements of the 2004 NSPD reflecting necessary changes in institutional responsibilities among civil interagency participants in management, operation, and use of federally provided PNT systems and services; and developing, publishing, and maintaining GPS Standard Positioning Service (SPS) and Precise Positioning Service (PPS) Performance Standards and conduct research, assessments, and analyses regarding recommended changes to the Performance Standards
Prepare draft plans for control of Federal Radio navigation systems, to include GPS, in the event of domestic security threats.
Conduct research, assessments and analyses related to spectrum and frequency management issues.
Assessing policy and technical implications of PNT Enterprise contributions to rapidly evolving autonomous vehicle technologies.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Master’s degree or equivalent and 12 years of related experience working with GPS/PNT and National Leadership Command Capability.
Possesses in depth knowledge of the enterprise, logic, systems, programming, and components, and a broad range of knowledge across the organization business, data, technology, applications, and organizational views.
Domain and expert technical knowledge and extensive experience in the development of solutions, recommendations, or outcomes.
Meet the IAT Level II security certification requirements required by DoD 8140.01-M, such as CompTIA Security + or CASP, etc.
Demonstrate strong writing skills in order to provide finished briefing products, fully developed correspondence packages and policy document reviews and recommendations.
Possess strong working knowledge of Pentagon processes and offices.
Have strong technical expertise and skills using MS Office products (word, excel, teams etc.)
Demonstrate the ability to work productively with diverse organizations across the DoD, civil government agencies, other branches of government, and international representatives and agencies.
