ICT Business Analyst / Project Manager (Gr J)]
Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Project Administrator and Testing Coordinator for a duration of 6 months. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for managing the testing workstream in AWS and assisting in project management activities related to the migration. You will coordinate testing activities, engage with stakeholders, third-party vendors, and business partners, and ensure successful migration to AWS. While AWS testing knowledge is preferred, it is not essential for this role as training and support will be provided. You will report to the AWS Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the testing workstream in AWS, including planning, coordinating testing, and overseeing all necessary testing activities.
- Report progress, blockers and showstopping risks and issues.
- Forecast expected completion dates, and resource interdependencies.
- Coordinate with service owners to understand their testing requirements, arrange downtime, provide guidance, and ensure alignment with migration goals.
- Engage with suppliers to coordinate testing activities, gather necessary information, and ensure their participation in the migration process.
- Arrange downtime and maintenance windows with relevant teams to perform necessary testing activities without disrupting business operations.
- Work with Application owners to assist them with developing a comprehensive test plan
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, third-party vendors, and business partners involved in testing activities.
- Document all testing activities, outcomes, and issues encountered during the migration process.
- Gather necessary technical information from relevant team members, technical experts, service owners, and stakeholders.
- Conduct interviews and meetings to extract and capture the required technical information accurately.
- Organise and structure the gathered technical information in a coherent manner.
- Populate the online library with the documented technical information, ensuring easy access and knowledge sharing among the project team.
- Regularly update the online library with new or revised technical information throughout the migration project.
- Collaborate with team members to review and validate the accuracy and completeness of the documented technical information.
- Ensure proper version control and documentation governance for the online library.
- Proactively identify any gaps or missing information and follow up with the respective team members to obtain the required details.
- Assist the AWS project manager in tracking project milestones, timelines, and dependencies.
- Support project coordination activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes.
- Collaborate with the wider migration team to ensure smooth integration of the testing workstream with other migration activities.
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies related to testing and project management and take appropriate actions to mitigate them.
- Work independently, taking a proactive and hands-on approach to coordinate with various stakeholders, third-party vendors, and business partners.
Requirements:
- Strong enthusiasm and self-motivation to drive testing activities in an AWS migration project.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with stakeholders, third-party vendors, and business partners.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills to effectively manage testing activities and assist in project management tasks.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience in creating and managing test plans is preferred but not essential for this role. - Understanding of cloud computing and migration best practices will be an added advantage.
- Attention to detail and ability to document technical information accurately.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.

Pay Rate: £320.00
