To lead in the implementation and delivery of specific recommendations following a review of the Interventional Radiology service. The Role:
Insurance Products and Portfolio consists of broad range of consumer and corporate products covering property, motor and speciality products. Our business covers various brands such as: Suncorp, AAMI, GIO, Vero (corporate partners), CIL, APIA, Shannons and Terri Scheer.
The role of the Project Manager is to support Commercial & Consumer Markets team in the planning, organisation, directing and coordinating technology related projects. The Project Manager is responsible in delivering to scope, timetable and budget and to reduce risks and maximise benefits. This role will deliver the Suncorp strategy and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to support strategic IT priority in enhancing its Product, Pricing & Analytics capability.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with Data & Enterprise Technology (DET) team to deliver complex ICT projects efficiently to scope, timetable and budget and identify alternative courses of actions that may result in cost or time savings
• Accountable for day to day operations of ICT resourcing, scheduling, prioritisation and task coordination
• Co-ordinate delivery across squad(s) ensuring outcomes are timely delivered
• Meeting project milestones, objectives and deliverables within agreed timeframes and budgets.
• Ensure technology project risks, dependencies and assumptions are well documented and mitigated where possible.

Skills & Experience:
• Project management qualifications (Prince2, PMBOK, Agile) desired
• Tertiary qualifications in IT, business, commerce or relevant experience
• Tertiary qualifications in IT, business, commerce or relevant experience
• 15+ years of experience in various ICT roles within finance or technology sectors
• 10+ years of experience in ICT project management preferably in Insurance, banking, Technology or in a highly regulated environment
• 10+ years of demonstrated experience in roles requiring a high degree of customer service or stakeholder management
• Demonstrated experience in large multi-year projects/program of work
• Experience with project management tools and frameworks (JIIRA, Confluence etc)
• Agile and/or Lean project delivery experience
• Excellent presentation, communication and influencing skills
• Experience managing complex projects and programs of work including multiple integrated systems across functions in a large-scale financial company
• Experience coordinating and overseeing the work of other BAs, IMs, technical teams and mentoring
• Strong time management skills with proven prioritisation capability.

Capabilities:
• Expert understanding of the insurance industry, including insurance products, Pricing systems, Advanced analytical tools, Technology Platforms and integration.
• Strong ability to contribute to and understand complex and strategic perspectives and translate to tactical deliverable solutions.
