An Accounting Clerk plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and transactions of an organization. This position involves accurate and efficient data entry, recordkeeping, and assisting the accounting team in various tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the financial operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Data Entry: Accurately input financial data, invoices, purchase orders, and other transactional information into the accounting software or spreadsheets.
• Accounts Payable: Process and verify vendor invoices, match them to purchase orders and receiving documents, obtain necessary approvals, and prepare payments. Maintain organized records of payables and vendor information.
• Accounts Receivable: Prepare and issue invoices to customers, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts. Maintain customer accounts and communication regarding outstanding balances.

This position provides general office and financial support to lodging management. Performs various management support functions to include preparing general correspondence and budget submissions.
