The Human Resources Services Team work as part of the Global HR Operations/Service team reporting to the Global HR Services Manager. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the HR engine is running smoothly and flawlessly at Cloudera on a global scale. We are committed to leading and managing all HR Ops related tasks within Cloudera and are looking for a HR Operations Specialist to support us in this journey. You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and partners both internally and externally.
Your main duties include: Onboarding and welcoming new hires in the APAC region, maintaining employee records, managing HR documents, and content management for various tools and processes, and offboarding. Additionally you will partner with the local HR Business Partner team to draft and implement HR policies and update our employee handbooks. Our ideal candidate has experience with HR processes, policies and procedures and can manage various administrative tasks simultaneously.
As a HR Operations Specialist you will:
Participate in supporting our Employees in the the employee lifecycle, supporting hire to retire activities and supports
Prepare HR documents such as new hire guides and checklists
Facilitate welcome and onboarding meetings to new Cloudera employees globally
Administrative support for new hire orientation
Send new hire agenda invites and correspondence
Assists with the maintenance of the HRIS system, required transactions and record maintenance and excellent accuracy
Assists with preparation of a wide range of internal and external documents
Manage and prepare all employee off-boarding transactions / paperwork
Identify emerging issues and trends and continuous improvements
Communicate HR Ops program updates and changes throughout the organization
Collaborate with international HR team to create global policies and procedures
Manage the development, implementation, and improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Update and maintain HR files both hard and soft copy
Process Workday transactions and tasks and complete regular audits on transactions
Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics
Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
Audit employee files, I-9s and employment applications as well as Onboarding Training files.
Process Verification of Employment requests
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Liaise with benefits team on assigned tasks
Provide support with open-enrollment for benefits
Contribute to both Global and Regional H.R. Services Projects
Assist with supporting Global Mobility

Previous Workday experience
Previous experience providing case management to a broad range of employee requests and service tickets
You may also have:
2-4 years of experience working in HR in an admin role
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field
Hands-on experience with reports, data entry, and data management/handling
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
MS Office Proficiency (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
