Job Description:

Reporting to the Production Manager, your primary responsibility will be to assist the manager to manage and supervise the Machinists.

• Manage and supervise Leadman/machinist day to day activity to achieve production schedules & targets.
• Attend Pre-process discussion, which includes the tools and fixtures to be used for the jobs.
• Assist in production planning; control raw materials and daily process maintenance work
• Work towards improving the process flow and quality yield
• Provide good leadership with clear work direction to the production team and align the team to achieve business objective
• Conduct training & coaching of machinist become multi-task roles.
• Advice production Manager in assessment of his subordinates.
• Ensure quality products and OTD to achieve company KPI
• Ensure high quality and safety standards in the shop floor
• Conduct troubleshooting and suggest corrective actions.

Requirement:
• Minimum qualification NTC-2 and above
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in machine shop - CNC milling and turning knowledge in Oil and Gas industry is preferred
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing industry, Oil and Gas industrial experience is preferred
• Good interpersonal skills with positive attitude
• Able to communicate and work with a diverse workforce/team

Job Title: Senior Maintenance Supervisor (ID8096)
Location: Clementi
Working Hour: 5 days work
Monday – Friday 8am-5:30pm
Salary: $3500 - $4000

Job Description:
• Lead a team of maintenance technicians and general workers
• Ensure the readiness of a variety of equipment such as pumps, tools and heavy vehicles for immediate use and deployment at all times
• Maintain an adequate stock of equipment and spare parts to minimize downtime
• Oversee the preparation of the equipment for outgoing project and ensure the returned equipment from project site are in good condition
• Ensure monthly and annual inspection of equipment and vehicles are done timely
• Ensure all equipment possess valid licenses and / or inspected by relevant authorities
• Ensure the out-of-specification equipment are not reachable or issued to any party
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the immediate superior(s) or Management

Requirement:
• Singaporeans and PR only
• At least a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications
• At least 5 year(s) of relevant working experience in in Process industry or downstream maintenance environment
• Proficient in computer usage with a working knowledge of Microsoft office applications
• Meticulous, willing to learn, able to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
• Comfortable to work with NTS associates, good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to start work immediately or short notice period

RESPONSIBILITIES

The job holder reports directly to the Senior Facilities Manager. The duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to: -

• Conducts daily inspection of the entire school compound for cleanliness, safety and maintenance;
• Plans and carries out regular preventive maintenance of facilities including aircon servicing, maintenance of kitchen equipment, kitchen exhaust, fridge maintenance, painting and cleaning of all facilities in the school;
• Handles maintenance requests and update maintenance request records and monitor response time;
• Handles maintenance cash float and ordering of hardware and materials;
• Handles feedback from Principal and Teachers, and provide prompt responses within the same day;
• Adheres to effective execution of safety and standard operating procedures and workplace safety and health (WSH) guidelines;
• Conducts WSH training of school cleaning and support staff and maintains records of training conducted;
• Works together with school’s management team to plan, execute school events, and activities such as open house, concert, graduation ceremonies and other ad-hoc projects to support the room set-up of furniture and tear down of decorations;
• Supervise contractors and team of security and in-house cleaners, ensuring their full attendance and to keep proper records of their attendance;
• Provides coverage of duties should there be any absence of school cleaning staff at the school;
• Monitors performance of contract cleaning staff to ensure that they are cleaning the assigned zones and meets the high cleaning standards set and that cleaning equipment and chemicals are stored safely;
• Manages external vendors and contractors on-site maintenance works and their contracts in terms of work completion and thorough cleanliness;
• Ensures all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with safety and environmental regulations;
• Liaise with various government authorities such as BCA, NEA, URA;
• Undertakes periodically with projects and works assigned from time to time
• Handles procurement of maintenance or minor renovation works relating to school’s facilities;
• Identifies training needs of employees, source suitable training courses and submit training requisition to the Human Resource Department;
• Maintains training records of all staff who attended / completed training;
• Prepares annual training plan for maintenance and support staff;
• Be in-charge of all matters relating to the school’s logistics and facilities management;
• Assist in internal events planning;
• Responsible for management of logistics, equipment and inventory related to programme delivery;
• Undertake any other duties or responsibilities assigned;
• Must be hands-on and possesses strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess Diploma in Building Services or Facilities Management;
• At least 3 years of related work experience, preferably in school environment or similar;
• Self-driven and committed individual with excellent follow up;
• Results oriented and able to work under pressure;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Competent in Microsoft Office.
