Job Description of IT Operations Manager:
ThoughtFull is seeking its first IT Operations Manager to oversee our company’s end to end IT operations.
IT Operations Manager responsibilities include ensuring seamless technical support for our team. From overseeing the helpdesk to providing Level 1 technical support for our Engineering team and end users, your expertise will be critical. You'll be the go-to person for managing the Microsoft suite of products and services. Collaborating closely with the People Team, you'll ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes, and effective IT onboarding.
Additionally, you'll be responsible for maintaining security systems and upholding ISO 27001 standards. If you're ready to be the IT expert at ThoughtFull, driven by solutions rather than limitations, we want you on our team.
What you will do:
- Manage IT Operations and Helpdesk to support our needs as a distributed company.
- Support the Engineering team by performing Level 1 technical support and investigations on our app
- End user support
- Support and Maintenance of MS suite of products and services
- M365 General enquiries, feature or functionality failure
- SharePoint Online
- Microsoft Teams
- OneDrive
- Intune
- Microsoft Azure Active Directory
- Work with People Team to enable smooth onboarding/offboarding of all team members, ensuring that:
- All hardware is available day one.
- Governance and deployment of software and aligned with TF’s policies.
- IT onboarding is regularly conducted and enables team members to get comfortable working with their new tools.
- Maintain CCTV cameras and door access control systems.
- Ensure adherence to information security management system (ISMS) meets ISO 27001 requirements.
- Be the IT expert at TF - Comes with Solutions, not a Practice of No.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in an IT Operations role and experience managing or working service/support roles.
- A demonstrably deep understanding of IT Operations and Service/Support needs in a high-growth technology company.
- Ability to reason holistically about end-to-end Enterprise ecosystems: from online sales portal to marketing tools to Azure & Microsoft 365.
- Experience building corporate IT knowledge bases and writing policies/processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
