About the Role: This position is responsible for the management of the program and to run the project on a day-to-day basis for automotive system solutions delivery from Pune location. The role involves ideation, analytical thinking of current system problems in automotive domain and preparing the business solution on these problems. This role involves discussion with technical team, having knowledge on complete product development which covers all aspects hardware, software, mechanical, product validations, launches/ SOPs. Complete Program accountability for the success of products in terms of timely delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction.

What will you do:

• Conduct research and analysis to identify customer needs and requirements.
• Develop system and product specifications.

• Drive continuous improvement processes within the engineering team, optimizing workflows and tools.
• Establish day-to-day operational objectives & organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the program on schedule.
• Manages change control and escalations.
• Assesses program/initiative issues, and areas of risk, and acts to work with various stakeholders to resolve all problems.
• Identifies risks, and clearly communicates goals and results.
• Conducts team meetings, documents issues, and keeps the extended team informed of the status and health of Product development/delivery.
• Create product/program/project schedule, monitor, and control schedules and milestones to ensure various projects stay on track.
• Serve as the focal point for program communications across teams.
• Compile regular program status for all stakeholders and escalate critical issues and risks.

What the role Needs:

• 14-16 years of work experience:

1. Minimum 10 to 12 years of working in Embedded systems [automotive domain preferred]
2. Minimum 2 to 4 years of Program /Project Management-relevant work experience.

• Experience of product development - V engineering model, predictive /adaptive (Agile models) in project management.
• Hands-on working experience on CMMI, ASPICE, ISO26262, cybersecurity topics with automotive standards and best practices
• Knowledge of automotive systems [Diesel, Gasoline, EV] and components specifically ECU (engine control units)
• Experience in designing or developing any automotive systems.
• Ability to work independently and develop/review technical documentation with high quality and technical accuracy.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Carry out tests and evaluations to ensure compliance with automotive standards and best practices.
• Able to Design, develop, and get qualification for automotive systems and components.
• Create system requirements test plans to evaluate and verify the functionality of automotive systems.

Preferred/Good To Have Skill Set:

• PMP or another accreditation is a plus.
