1. You will be responsible for service and after-sales support of the electric drives and controls portfolio, including repairs, field service, spare parts and service contracts of electric drives, motors, and controls by providing best-in-class service to our customers based in Thailand.
2. Work with customer’s engineering and maintenance teams to develop turn-key system solution for various applications that include servo drives, PLCs, HMIs, linear motion systems and other Bosch Rexroth automation solutions, proactively offer and promote retrofit kits/modernization solutions.
3. Perform technical analysis of machine and application requirements and select best suitable products/solutions including electric motors, servo drives and auxiliary equipment (sizing, selecting, applying, hands-on support). Demonstrate key product capabilities and advantages to customers, generate examples how-to based PLC code for communication with HMI, drives and provide startup assistance.
4. Prepare and provide product workshops, trainings, and presentations for customers (both internally and externally)
5. Able to work at Bosch Rexroth Amata City Industrial Estate Rayong, work at office 5 days and sometimes support on site for service jobs
6. Able to work in high temperature, dirty or odors in environment

Resident Engineer who are working together with Japanese OEM engineers and carry out tasks for products of overall Cross-domain Computing Solution Business (XC) Division at customer site.
This is a very challenging role to be responsible for providing value to customers with high sincerity as a representative of Bosch at nearest position to them.

What you do:

• Work with Japanese OEM engineers to specify, calibrate or evaluate products of Cross-domain Computing Solution Business Division
  Ex) Car Navigation / Infotainment products
• Investigate issues, cause analysis and consider countermeasures with global Bosch engineers
• Software update, integration and evaluation
• Elicit requirements or expectations from Japanese OEM and share them with Bosch project team
• Improve and maintain competence, store and share know-how obtained via task execution or training

We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Manufacturing Engineer.

Position responsibilities will include:

Value Stream Support as a Manufacturing Engineer.  Identify and lead projects to improve cost, quality, delivery, utilization, and safety of manufacturing processes in order to meet the Value Stream targets in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Costs, CIP.

Operational Processes: Support the Manufacturing Operations of a defined Value Stream as required to meet company targets related to Safety, Quality, Delivery and Costs.  Review, improve and initiate all operation processes using lean tools, continuously documenting said processes.

Process Documentation & Planning:  Review, create, and updated documentation related to the above processes as per the requirements established by Bosch and the lead plant. Develop training documents to support operations.

Operations Support:  Monitor and support all issues regarding operations on real time demand.  Understand and solve process interruptions and document all operational issues.  

Cost Reduction:  Develop cost reductions through process improvement based on lean manufacturing principle.  Plan and execute changes caused by new suppliers and materials.
