Role & Responsibilities:

• Implement information / IT security engagements for clients

Responsibilities :

• Function as a member of a diverse project team. Interact with peers, lab personnel, assay development personnel, and customers from diverse business units.

• Working alongside manager on the continuing evolution and refinement of business/operational processes to optimize quality, timeliness, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of research execution and delivery. Continuous measurement of key KPIs in each area.
• Require 3 days of shift work (9pm-6am) in a month to have better overlap with US clients

Key Internal Relationships:

• Members of Research & Data sectors, including colleagues in Research Operations for coordination, planning, execution, and support of syndicated research deliverables
• Product Management colleagues across sectors - provide research support for the planning, launch, and execution of impactful, differentiated high-quality research products
• Data team – working together to create DBs and forecast tools to drive research efficiency, consistency, and quality
• Leadership team – proactively communicate new ideas and feedback around process, operations, research, etc. to support continual improvement

Kunlun-2050 Research Lab is at the forefront of fundamental research in AGI. Our work encompasses two main areas: Foundation Model 2.0 and Agents. Foundation Model 2.0 explores new frontiers in AGI, including new foundation modes and applications, training and inference acceleration, and theoretical studies focusing on interpretability. Meanwhile, our work on Agents covers virtual and physical agents, pushing the boundaries of AI research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of diverse research domains and relevant literature, while mastering a range of research techniques.
• Identify solvable elements within complex research problems, demonstrating astute problem-solving abilities.
• Explore emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies prevalent in the research community, under the guidance of mentors. Contribute expertise in specialized tools or methods, facilitating effective project planning.
• Complete research components successfully and yield innovation.
• Develop algorithms, prototypes, theories, tools, analyses, insights, or data collections that address key aspects of higher research objectives.
• Uphold ethical principles and privacy policies throughout research processes and data collection activities. Contribute to the development and implementation of computing technologies that prioritize trustworthiness, robustness, privacy, and ethics.

Desirable Experience:

• Currently pursuing a doctoral or master’s degree in computer science or any STEM field.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to academic and research excellence.
• Anticipate at least one academic semester toward graduation after completion of an internship.
• Possess a solid understanding of large language models, preferably with practical experience working with deep learning libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or equivalents.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other researchers and product development teams.
• Excel in collaborative environments, seamlessly collaborating with fellow researchers and cross-functional product development teams. Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across diverse groups and cultures.
