What will I be doing?

As an Assistant Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for all maintenance issues within the hotel, daily, maintenance checks, and repairing mechanical equipment to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. An Assistant Maintenance Manager will also be required to coordinate renovation projects and develop emergency programs. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Ensure good relationships are built with internal and external customers

• Maintenance of all hotel fixtures and fittings to ensure they are in safe condition and take action when any unsafe situations arise

• Managing a small team to ensure tasks are completed to the highest standards

• Develop, implement, and direct all emergency programs

• Develop, implement and manage energy conservation programs for the property to minimize expenses

• Managing departmental budgets

• Coordinate renovation bidding, define the cost and scope of the project, and oversee the general contractor and subcontractors to ensure quality work is performed cost effectively

• Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned

• Responsible for the health and safety of the hotel

• Ensure monthly safety inspections take place and employees are trained accordingly

What are we looking for?

The post holder will: To support higher skilled grades across the Estates Department on new work and repair as required. Undertake unsupervised routine maintenance and minor repair work that does not justify the attention of a fully qualified craftsman, related to his training and/or experience. To assist/carry out the testing of fire alarms, hot water temperature checks, changing lamps, lampshades/diffusers, drain checks / clearing, small joinery / building tasks etc., without supervision. Recording meter readings in various departments on a monthly basis being able to interpret results and any abnormalities which may incur increased expenditure to the client. Driving company vehicles for the purpose of carrying out maintenance/repair work or the collection of materials as instructed by the Estates Manager. Looking after the vehicle and all company equipment transported within the vehicle. Occasionally requested to work overtime at short notice. Carry out PAT Testing to equipment owned by the Trust in clients private dwellings training available. Responsible for health and safety, access and security when working in locked wards, health premises, learning disabilities and mental health accommodation. Deal with new situations as they arise and advise Estates Manager of action taken. To comply with all company policies and procedures. Respond to and liaise with other members of the company staff who request assistance. Be prepared to work in hazardous areas, confined spaces and on contaminated equipment taking all safety measures to prevent danger, avoid injury and prevent damage to equipment in accordance with company policy and safe working procedures i.e., the post holder will assist in the completion of risk assessments. Be prepared to work in areas where they may be exposed to distressing or emotional circumstances (i.e. terminally ill patients on wards, mortuary etc.) on an infrequent basis. • To execute preventive maintenance and ensure all plant machinery functionality
• To maintain proper documentation of maintenance records

Our Client's Service/Product :

Coordination roles on role focusing on maintenance

The Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance for preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, keeping records
• Assist in investigating damage/accidents and liaise with owners
• Conduct patrol checks on maintenance activities
• Coordinate with other departments, including Japan, on maintenance
• Prepare and control work procedures, reports, and quotations
• Ensure compliance with environmental policies
• Carry out other assigned duties

The Requirements:

• Basic administrative skills
• Able to work well in a team
• Handle technical aspects and liaise with customer for maintenance and operation matters
