Taking off quantities and costing for pre-tender estimate, variation order, claim, re-measurement and final account
Prepare price comparison and project costing sheet
Study drawings, specifications to understand project requirements for design change, claim and variation order
Prepare, collate and liaise with client and internal project team on monthly progress payment claim and substantiation
Prepare document for sourcing of quotations and calling of sub-contract tender including tender evaluation, recommending award and preparing sub-contract document
Certify sub-contractors’ monthly progress claim and evaluate variation works

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing project quotations for tender and submission.
• To assist the Business Development Manager in all areas of quantity surveying works.
• Able to advise suitable and effective strategies, skills, and methods in tender pricing.
• To monitor all variation orders (VO) that are well recorded and claimed.
• Responsible for verifying, and cost control of all suppliers, sub-contractors, workers, etc., inclusive of project claims and expenses within the budget.
• Prepare pre and post-project budgets, progress claims, projected cash flow, tender documentation, and final accounts.
• Ensure every progress claim, certification, and invoice to clients is issued on a timely basis.
• Monitor all contractual records with clients and suppliers complies as to always protect the company's interest.
• Source, negotiate, and coordinate between suppliers, sub-contractors, manufacturers, and vendors.
• Undertake other assigned tasks as required.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• At least 2 years of working experience in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Interior Fit Out will be an added advantage.
