Job Description:
- Implement effective campaigns and strategies for key launches, including pitching of stories. This may include public communication plan linked to business initiatives
- Manage media queries and interview requests, including managing incidents and sensitive issues, jointly with team lead and respective business units to promote or protect the reputation of the Organization. For instance, drafting of holding statements, FAQ and briefing documents.
- Liaise and engage with internal stakeholders, including Top Executives, to identify and address their media and communications needs with the appropriate initiatives.
- Foster relationships with key media contacts and influencers to drive and influence media coverage and exposure
- Ability to manage agencies to drive business outcomes.
- Support the development or enhancement of the issues and crisis preparedness / management framework
- Build corporate brand through award submissions and create publicity opportunities through award wins
- Lead in PR monitoring and measurement including measuring and tracking the value of and return on PR and communication initiatives. Monitor, analyse and communicate PR measurement
- Support the enhancement of corporate communication guidelines and ensure good corporate governance and tone of voice for assets developed for business groups. This could include assets and activities such as spokesperson and/or media training, collaterals, events, speeches, presentations, and digital assets
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Mass Communications/Public Relations/Journalism or equivalent.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Excellent command of both verbal and written in English & Mandarin language are essential.
- Familiar with design software – Adobe, Illustrator.
- Enthusiastic and dynamic with strong people management & decision-making skills and ability to work on own initiative.
- Good communications, negotiations, presentations and strong analytical skills.
- Strong media contacts across all media platform and good rapport with media partners.
- Able to work in fast pace.
