Job Description

Overall

• Serves as a source for other departments within the organization for capacity planning matters.

• Participates in projects that influence the direction of capacity planning that impacts customer satisfaction.

• Execute non-routine tasks designated by your supervisor to meet business needs.

• Develop relevant and impactful key performance indicators such as Forecast Accuracy, Offloads, Surplus to monitor and control demand forecast.

• Verify demand variation that is not justified and contact commercials to resolve discrepancy. Notable discrepancies e.g. lead time breach, capacity constraints, or other issues that may jeopardize delivery to be reported after identifying the issue including demand that is greater or below customer forecast.

• Conduct review with commercial and operations on demand horizon and forecast plan, assessing capability, including belly space capacity, facility processing capabilities, equipment, manpower and operating hours. 

• Areas of concern to be highlighted at the presentation, seeking for action plans from all functional/support  teams.

About the Job 

The APAC Project Management (Integration), Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the successful integration of various business units, systems, processes, and technologies within an organization. This role involves developing and executing integration strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring the alignment of projects with the overall business objectives. As a member of the APAC Commercial Excellence team, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency, scalability, and synergy through effective project management and communication. 

Responsibilities 

Stand-up fully integrated org structure 

• Overseeing consistent implementation of org design principles (span of control, separation of service and sales, revenues/FTE, etc.)
• Change management - training, new leader assimilation, town halls, manager forums 
• Enabling cross-company managers to navigate 2 different eco-systems: expectations, processes, systems - how to simplify, appoint delegate, etc 

Business Management 

• Implement and enforce a single E2E billing and collections process across the combined business 
• Proposal and contract approval flow, consistent across both businesses.  
• Tracking integration cost savings, actions, progress, status 
• Integrate/Build culture 
• Integrating and building our new culture eg. ERG, People & Planet Day, Engage results, etc.  

• Oversee the smooth and efficient running of Accounting Department and ensure compliance with statutory authority, audit and taxation requirements.
• Ensure effective management, monitoring and tracking of business entities, reporting financial status.
• Analyse business performance / results, providing feedback to key stakeholders.
• Monitor tenants and work with leasing to follow up on collections.
• Prepare and report monthly financial results in accordance with company deadlines.
• Monitor and account for company assets.
• Financial accounting and ensuring books and records are properly kept to meet statutory or audit requirements.
• Supervision of staff to ensure that accounts report is meets deadlines.
• Guiding and coaching co-workers including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
• Budget and Forecast – Preparation on presentation materials; consolidation and analysis on numbers from different departments.
• Responsible for management reporting to Ikano SA.
• Furnish information to regulatory authorities, external auditors for annual audit, tax consultants / manager for tax filing and / or any authorised parties.
• Renew and Improve SOPs and identify gaps to drive accounting and finance process efficiencies and improvements.
• Involvement and contribution in finance related projects including system improvements and upgrades which support the whole accounting processes.

We are looking for a Major Project Sales Lead to be based in our newly renovated Petaling Jaya office.

About you

You are familiar with the construction business in Malaysia and have a wide network with the key market players; in this role you will serve as the Otis brand ambassador introducing and promoting our products and services into the to the major projects in Malaysia.

On a typical day you will:

• Manage a portfolio of elevator units through maintaining good working relationships with existing customers

• Serve as primary contact for timely resolution of customer needs surrounding inquiries

• Develop new customers via cold calling, networking, bids and tenders

• Develop your own sales strategy to achieve sales targets

• Use Otis’ sales tools to effectively track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales results

• Conduct sales negotiations and close deals

• Collaborate with fellow team members, including other sales representatives and field colleagues

What you will need to be successful

• Relevant Degree and a minimum of 8 years working experience in Major Project Sales, preferably in the Elevator business

• Strong client servicing mentality, excellent interpersonal skills

• Possess high level of commitment and reliability

• Target oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
