Responsibilities

1. Establish and implement the process for building a strong relationship with electronic parts suppliers (Asia Pacific, US, EU region).
2. Negotiate with electronic parts suppliers (Asia Pacific, US, EU region) to secure supplies and delivery and optimize the purchasing cost.
3. To optimize Omron's manufacturing by providing proactive support and understanding Omron's business and parts supply situations.
4. Search local processed parts suppliers to optimize the purchasing costs and mitigate procurement risks due to geopolitical causes, regulatory requirements, the bankruptcy of current vendors, etc.
5. Establish the system for timely updating information regarding new and existing suppliers at Omron's each manufacturing site.
6. Strategize and execute sustainable procurement by related due diligence including, but not limited to, human rights, carbon footprint, and any other environmental and control concerns.
7. Coordinate and execute emergency remedies and permanent improvements for critical situations with related parties throughout Omron group.
8. Provide support and develop the staff of OMRON Asia Pacific purchasing/procurement team. Motivate and organize staff through strong leadership and communication.
9. Manage and accomplish the business objectives by KPI.
10. Plan and control the local expense in accordance with the budget.

Requirements:

• BSc/BA in business or relevant engineering field
• Educations in finance, accounting, ERP systems, or logistics are a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in sales/marketing at semiconductor manufacturers or purchasing/procuring semiconductor parts.
• Deep semiconductor/electronic parts knowledge regarding technology, market trend, and industry.
• Strategic and critical thinking and decision-making with sensitivity.
• Proficient in MS Office and influential communication, presentation, and public speaking skills in English

Responsibilities:

• To analyze the customers’ needs and context, then set the expectation to Family Buyers (FB).
• To be part of Bid team to support the Bid Manager including Peer Review, CCR, Bid Plan etc,.
• To deliver Acquisition Management Plan and PSS according to Bid Plan and given deadline
• Owns, highlight and report, drive Industrialization and Procurement deliverables and requirements for the Project.
• Work closely with FB in the securization of material to ensure that project milestones are maintained.
• Identify, Analyze, Match demands from Projects to internal and external constraints.
• Participate in the change management process; All design changes follow proper Configuration Management timely fashion and record and update these changes into the acquisition plan.
• Lead and coordinate all activities associated on make, team or buy decision within the Procurement Domain for all project end items’ deliverables.
• Manage risk, track and analyse budget gap to ensure that Equipment acquisition is within budget/EAC. Make timely and routine escalation to management as appropriate.
• Act as the interface between Procurement, Project Management, Engineering, Installation, T&C and Client on all acquisition matters.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 to 10 years experience in Transport and Security environment
