The project work will be led and mentored by a senior engineer and is part of a larger project on Stade Dow Site to improve sustainability and environmental aspects according to TA-Luft 2022 requirements. The responsibility will be the analytical support of a new catalytic oxidation plant for vent gas treatment in the Dowanol plant with process optimization and validation of the equipment and operating parameters. This project may serve as a master’s thesis project in cooperation with a university.

• Responsible for performing test cases to validate NVIDIA Enterprise Embedded/Mobile products, such as NVIDIA Tegra Automative, NVIDIA Terga Jetson, and other NVIDIA platforms.

• Be responsible to automate test cases and maintain the automation scripts.

• Collaborate with Developer, PM, marketing, and engineering teams on designing test plans and implementing validation.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a Test Engineer Intern located in our Austin, TX site.

Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.

What a typical day looks like:

• Help Team Bring up new Test equipment EOL/STR stations
• Preform QRR, before releasing to production
• Learn ways of pulling test yields, trends in failures and develop ways to track which testers are causing failures below yield goals
• Review process for testing Inverters and provide ways of improving yields based on data from each testers
• Attend team meetings and support project work as needed

• Currently enrolled Senior student pursuing degree in Electrical Engineering
• Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
• Prior EE internship experience
• MS Office Suite

What will you do? 

Day to day duties will include: 

• Develop, evaluate and formulate solutions in projects focused on improving the quality of mining processes.

• Communicate with various levels of personnel throughout the organization, including management, plant operators, engineers (of various disciplines), lab personnel, and contractors 

• Participation in department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment 

• Adhering to Mosaic’s mission, guiding principles and priorities, and key competencies 

What do you need for this role?

• Second year or higher pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mining, Geological Engineering or Geoscience

• 70% GPA or higher

• 1-2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is required

• Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.

• Basic computer skills are required

• Experience working in a team environment is a must

• Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable

• Effective verbal communication skills is a plus
