Our client based in Poole is looking for three motivated and enthusiastic Sales Advisors to come and join their team on a full-time basis to help them build strong relationships with their customers.
The company provide a comprehensive wholesale service across the UK and they support this by providing comprehensive proactive sales activity to their customers, covering a wide range of national and local businesses.
As a sales advisor you will be expected to do the following:
- Actively makes proactive sales calls.
- Closes deals, grows sales revenues and increases trading volumes.
- Uses open questions on every call, reacts positively to opportunities & handles objections.
- Builds and manages successful trading relationships, identifying and pursuing new trading opportunities.
- Able to negotiate product prices directly with customers, considering value, volume and repetition.
- Can navigate discount and pricing structures, seeking approvals when required.
- Validate competitor prices when challenged by customers.
- Follows guidelines on the structure, content and purpose of sales calls.
- Follows guidelines to document sales call activity.
Your personality and attitude are more important than previous experience or qualifications, but it would be an advantage if you could demonstrate the following:
- Previous outbound calling experience (not necessary but preferred).
- A willingness to learn and is not afraid to ask questions.
- Self-confidence and a positive, flexible outlook.
- A polite and friendly manner (being rude never gets you anywhere).
- Business to business experience (not necessary but preferred).
- Plumbing and heating knowledge (not necessary but preferred).
- Good listening skills and be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to adapt behaviours to suit different customers and situations.
- Have a strong attention to detail.
These roles are offered on a permanent basis with a starting salary of £25,000 (based on 40 hr per week). The benefits include an annual uncapped profit share scheme, 25 days annual leave to start (pro rata dependent on start date), all bank holidays are non-working days and Xmas shutdown.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:00 am to 17:00 pm, no shifts or weekend work. Friendly working environment.
