This role will involve working on and leading packages of work relating to the metrology processes used on the manufacture of current and future Wings here at Broughton.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
You’ll be working on and leading packages of work on key projects relating to the research and development of innovative metrology processes, thanks to your experience on measurement technologies, software suites and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances but also good understanding of the industrial/ manufacturing assembly processes.
The role will require you to use your experience from within manufacturing to be an innovator, looking at current, future and pre existing technologies to ensure assembly processes on site continue to remain industry leading.
The role require a strong collaboration mindset to contribute to the metrology strategy for future and current aircraft together with the transnational key stakeholders around the domain
ABOUT YOU
Mechanical, Aerospace or Manufacturing Systems Engineering degree (or equivalent) and relevant engineering experience.
A background in manufacturing with exposure to industrial measurement field of expertise
Experience in research and development or research and technology within a manufacturing environment.
