To carry out HSE functions and responsibilities to implement the Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) and Security management system for Safe Operations.

Job Scope and Responsibilities:

• Lead to establish, implement, maintain a sound HSE and Security Management system and processes to prevent and mitigate risk and/or events in the workplace that could potentially result in an injury, ill-health or security threat
• Determine, assess and implement compliance obligations under the legal and other required framework to avoid non-conformances that could and/ or lead to accountability

Specific Job Tasks and Duties:

• Lead, establish, implement and maintain the HSE & Security management system compliance, processes and SCDF licensing requirements and monitor its effectiveness through audits and take actions to mitigate and rectify lapses in avoidance of legal non-conformances
• Establish and implement the HSE & Security work plan to achieve its objectives (KPI) through the allocation of resources, participation and support by relevant O&M department

• Appointed as Fire Safety Manager (FSM) to ensure compliance to the legal requirements and carry out duties of FSM under the Fire Safety Act / Regulation. Lead and implement emergency response preparedness through conducting of table top exercise and drills
• Appointed as Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) to ensure compliance to the legal requirements

Minimum Requirements:
