Summary
The Sr. Manager, Customer & Market Insights leads strategy, development, and design and execution of projects to deliver a deep understanding of customers and the market. This leader is accountable for synthesis of insights across a spectrum of inputs to inform product development, category management, strategy, marketing, and commercial initiatives.
This role requires proficiency and expertise in setting up projects and market surveillance for success, generating rich insights for decision-making. Expertise and access to a network of agencies, firms, and other resources in methods such as focus groups, surveys, competitor and industry data and research, and other forms of surveillance and data gathering are critical to success in this role.
This leader must demonstrate the ability to influence and manage external firms and insights service providers to provide valuable and informative work against specific project and contract deliverables to facilitate rapid business decisions on strategic and tactical approaches to growing the company’s brands, products and solutions.
This role partners with General Managers and their category and solutions leaders across four divisions of product and service solution owners. Working within the Products & Healthcare Solutions business segment, the Sr. Manager, Customer & Market Insights will report to the Vice President, Brand Management.

We are looking for a Customer (Account) Manager with strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and communication skills. Support and shape the growth strategy for the Consumer Solution Japan business
Conduct market and industry analysis to shape overall competitive position and identify opportunities for growth
Aggregate customer and market needs across the product portfolio and market segments to identify trends to enhance resource allocation and prioritization
Analyze and define the best opportunity for addressable market expansion for the Consumer Solution Business
Evaluate business model opportunities – especially digital – to accelerate growth and/or productivity
Serve as a trusted advisor across the organization, providing guidance on how to build a competitive advantage despite market and customer uncertainties
Author project proposals that will help the business test and learn how to capture additional value in Specialties
Required knowledge, skills and abilities include:

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience – electronics field
Up to 50% travel, mostly domestic
