Overview

In collaboration between Singapore Airlines and the National University of Singapore, the SIA-NUS Digital Aviation Corp Lab was established, with support from the National Research Foundation, Singapore. SIA-NUS Digital Aviation Corp Lab aims to create innovative technologies that accelerate digital transformation, redefine air travel, and enhance safety and security.

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Software Engineers to join our research team at the Corp Lab. The candidate will be working in the field of Virtual/Augmented Reality (VR/AR) and Large Language Models (LLMs) for Cabin Crew Simulation Training. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and development of VR/AR and AI conversational technologies for the aviation industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on the application of VR/AR and Large Language Models in airlines cabin crew simulation training, aiming to enhance realism, interactivity, and knowledge transfer.
• Design and develop VR/AR-based training scenarios in Unity.
• Develop AI/LLM/natural language processing models to generate dynamic and realistic dialogue interactions for cabin crew-passenger scenario-based training.
• Conduct usability studies. Collect and analyze data from VR/AR training to evaluate the effectiveness and performance of the simulation modalities.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related field, with a focus on VR/AR, Natural Language Processing, or Human-Computer Interaction.
• Software development experience in Unity/VR/AR or AI and Large Language Models, or related fields.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Unity, Python and C++/C#.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.

Description

• Set up camera, tripod, lights and grip equipment in the process of filming.
• Assist the Cameraman, Sound Recordist, Lightingman/Gaffer with menial details such as loading/unloading the equipment and setting up of equipment for filming.
• Assist to adjust the lights and cables during takes and removing of obstacles to ensure smooth production.
• Pack/unpack equipment and store the equipment in appropriate places.
• Perform basic cleaning/housekeeping and maintenance of equipment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of camera experience
• At least NITEC in Digital Audio, Video Production, Electronic or Film Production.
• Basic working knowledge of location lighting, audio, camera systems, lenses and camera support equipment.

Technician (Manufacturing / Production)

• To carry simple assembly work of small mech and electrical parts.
• To use simple battery-operated tools for the assembly work
• No heavy work or operating machinery
• Assist in conducting QC of product.
• Able to communicate in Mandrian
• Class 3 driving license – (optional)

Male or Female.

Salary: $2,300-$2,600 depending on working experience

Working hours: Monday to Friday (9.00am – 6.00pm)

• Prepare work of Hall opening and closing operation hours
• Help customers to settle down and advise on ordering system
• Serve food to customers in an effective and polite manner
• Answering customer’s queries regarding services, menus, offers or any other product related enquiries
• Clean tables after customers have left and clearing empty/unwanted dishes
• Assist kitchen staff whenever required
• Check & record fridge temperature
• Welcome and bids farewell to customers as they enter/ leave the restaurant
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of shelves

Working Location – 1 Kim Seng Promenade, Great World City

Full Time: 2 Shifts available – 8am to 6pm or 12pm to 10pm, Basic salary up to $2300.00 depends on experiences. Entitled to OT payable once exceed 44 hours per week.

Part Time: Working hours is from 10am to 7pm Minimum must be able to commit 4 days and above.

Job Responsiblities:

• Assisting in daily restaurant operations – including preparation of tables, serving

foods & beverages, and taking orders.

• Always provide friendly customer services standards.

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in and around restaurant.

• To provide any other ad. Hoc duties as required by superior or Head Chef.

• Able to speak well and doing recommendation to our guests as well as advising

them our on-going promotions.

• Inputting of customer orders accurately into POS (Point-Of-Service) system, settling

the bills with guests.
