POSITION SUMMARY:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide sound advisory support to the Regional business in their efforts to implement a robust internal control environment.
• Lead effective audit teams throughout assignments related to the Menarini APAC in different locations regionally, taking responsibility for the team members, providing leadership, support and encouragement for good performance and maintaining an appropriate work/life harmony on assignments.
• Plan, execute and deliver Regional audits on time and as per schedule, that provide assurance on enterprise-wide risks (e.g. in-market and above-market), that do not have pre-established control frameworks, facing senior management at local and region management levels.

• Supervise the planning and execution of highly complex audits on pharmaceutical enterprise risks with or without pre-defined control frameworks

• Provide meaningful, actionable, value-added and cost-effective recommendations that address control gaps, mitigate exposure to operational business risks, and improve the Company’s control framework. Identify opportunities to recommend best practices noted across the Menarini organization, industry, or other industries.
• Review and agree observations and findings with pertinent management in both regional Headquarter and Countries, and oversee the preparation of audit reports that concisely and objectively summarize those observations, recommendations, root causes, and other information relevant to all key stakeholders.
• Master key Company policies that Internal Audit provides assurance on, including their implementing guidelines and procedures.
• Apply effective project management skills to audit assignments to deliver work which meets high quality standards, deadlines and expectations of stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain key contact relationships with management at different locations and/or functional area(s) of responsibility to assess risks comprehensively across the organization and to develop the annual audit plan.
• Build effective business partnering and advisory relationships with senior management and with managers in relevant functions, while maintaining the independence and objectivity of self, team and the Internal Audit function
• Perform research on industry, internal control, compliance to anticipate and identify trends of risks that could potentially impact the organization, and incorporates these outcomes into the audit plan, training and advisory activities.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• University degree preferably in financial/management discipline (accounting, finance, economics). Ideally qualified accountant (i.e. Chartered Accountant or CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and/or MBA
• Minimum 20 years audit experience gained in a pharmaceutical company, MNC environment or Big 4 in an Internal Audit capacity.
• Proven leadership skills including the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing audit team. Able to work independently as well as in a team; and ability to build support and credibility within all levels of an organization.
• Ability to navigate and lead through ambiguity, manage and coordinate multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

The Internal Audit Director – Finance and Treasury Portfolio will focus on co-leading the Finance and Treasury Internal Audit team under the direction of the Audit Senior Director – Finance and Treasury, conducting audits in the areas such as general accounting, regulatory reporting, product control, liquidity management, capital management, and interest rate risk management.  The Internal Audit Director is a leadership position within the US Internal Audit Department responsible for the development and execution of a risk based audit plan that addresses the significant risks relevant to the Finance and Treasury Portfolio.  The Internal Audit Director develops strong relationships with Finance and Treasury business partners to obtain an understanding of the risks facing the organization and stay close to new developments impacting the business.  Additionally, the Internal Audit Director role will be responsible for leading, directing, evaluating, and developing audit professionals to ensure audit activities are conducted to high standards of accuracy, rigor, and credibility and according to regulations and industry standards.  The Internal Audit Director will also assist the Audit Senior Director in mentoring and developing the Finance and Treasury Internal Audit team to ensure team members continue to progress their careers. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Audit Senior Director – Finance and Treasury in developing a comprehensive audit plan for the Finance and Treasury Portfolio that addresses key regulatory requirements / expectations and provides a sound third line of defense risk based coverage
• Provide oversight in the execution of the audit plan through the review of detailed project plans that effectively incorporate appropriate risks, scope, staffing requirements, deliverables, timelines, budgets and client availability
• Demonstrate a forward-looking mindset to anticipate what is needed to timely meet objectives and department needs

• Participate in certain committees of the US Region to increase understanding and awareness of current issues and new developments

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required
• Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
• Experience working in an Internal Audit department at a large US bank focusing on audits of the finance and treasury function
• Strong knowledge of US banking regulations, including Regulation YY
• 12+ years of relevant, progressive experience
• Big 4 or other professional services experience preferred
• Ability to work independently in areas of difficult or complex nature
• Project management skills, including the ability to manage shifting priorities
• Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
• High level of expertise in collaboration and communication with internal and external parties

The Accounting Manager is in-charge of full set accounts of accounting bookkeeping for all subsidiaries of the group apart from Vietnam accounting. This is an exciting new opportunity which allows full remote work.

Responsibilities
- Supervise Accounting and Finance team
- Oversee all financial operations of all entities of Bitcastle Group
- In charge of all monthly/quarterly/yearly accounting reports for all entities of Bitcastle group, including preparation of group financial consolidation reports, tax filing documents, cashflow management report, bank and crypto reconciliation report
- Review and make all journal entries including accruals/ adjustments ; may determine and prepare appropriate journal entries for more complex business transactions
- Handle transfer pricing project for group entities
- Profit and loss management, financial analysis, proposal and implementation of profit improvement
- Establishment of accounting and financial structure (identification of current status, identification of issues, and formulation and implementation of improvement plans), implement accounting system of group companies
- Handle financial risk management reports periodically, collaborate with product sides to identify risks to make improvements in terms of product and operations set-up

The Audit Director is a senior level management position responsible for contributing to the strategic direction of Citi’s Internal Audit (IA) function, in coordination with the Audit team. This role is also responsible for managing multiple teams of professionals. The overall objective of this role is to direct audit activities that support a subset of a product line, function, or legal entity at the global or regional level, in accordance with IA standards, Citi policies, and local regulations.

As the Audit Director of Risk Validations, the individual will be responsible for the developments and implementation of risk validation coverage supporting activities across the first and the second lines of defense. The individual is expected to work in close collaboration with all IA teams and to leverage the product/functional expertise of the global IA team while providing Risk related subject matter expertise to ensure seamless delivery of the IA plan.

Responsibilities:

• Leads a team of auditors to provide timely and complete assurance over the Risk Validations in the US.
• Responsible for planning of audit coverage and delivery of high quality, value-added Risk Validations in accordance with audit methodology
• Leads validations owned by Risk and coordinates models subject matter expertise for all other audit teams.
• Proactively manages IA’s relationship with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including senior risk and business executives, and government regulators.
• Uses communication and leadership skills to influence a wide range of senior internal and external audiences; provides impactful, valuable and ongoing IA input through active interactions with stakeholders and formal participation at key committees and management initiatives
• Possesses, through direct hands-on experience, a strong understanding of Audit and Risk and a technical knowledge of models; maintains an understanding of key relevant regulations, current business practices and industry trends.
• Supports and endorses the Quality Assurance (QA) function of IA, and resolve issues found by QA, improving audit processes and coverage
• Ensures the adoption of Citigroup and Citibank Audit Committee Charters and the IA Charter, and engages in internal/external negotiations
• Oversees various tasks to build the audit team, including recruiting staff, developing and training the team, and managing the budget
• Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
