Job Summary:

Reporting to the EVP & CHRO, you will play a key role in managing human resources functions within our organization and staff within the Asia Pacific region (India, China, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, & Australia). The role is responsible for embedding company HR practices in the region by working in collaboration with the centers of excellence and by providing professional HR guidance and support to relevant internal client groups with the objective to add value to the business.

Responsibilities:

Talent Management and Talent Acquisition:

• Partners with leaders in the organization to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.

• Coordinate and facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation.

Business Advisory and Coaching

• Work with the regional commercial leadership team to influence and support the growth initiatives within Asia Pacific

Employee Relations:

• Address and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner.

Performance Management:

• Provide guidance and support to managers in addressing performance-related issues. Training and Development:

• Identify training needs within the organization and coordinate the development and delivery of training programs with the Learning and Development organization.

Compliance:

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing field HR operations.
• Experience supporting a distributed/decentralized, hourly, guest-focused workforce in a multi-state, multi-unit environment strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations; experience with a wide variety of HR functions a plus.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change, innovate, and adapt to evolving business needs.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, HRIS systems, and other HR-related software and tools.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop a HR strategy, ensuring all HR operational activities aligned with the organization’s long term strategy plan.
• Provide expert professional advice to management in all areas of HR, including payroll, employment law, HR policy, best practice and workforce development.
• Undertake recruitment and selection processes for management and clinical team, and build long-term recruitment partnership with academic institutions.
• Work closely with management to facilitate training programs in multiple locations.
• Design and lead the performance evaluation and staffing programme that support continuous development for all employees.
• Understand staff needs, form a strong organizational culture, improve staff retention rate.
• Ongoing review and improvement of the organization’s occupational health, employee programmes, staff benefits and packages.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties within the function and responsibility.

Required skills and abilities

• Preferably at least 13 years of human resource or operational experience.
• Preferably excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin (to speak to chinese clients) and English.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
