Due to recent increase in business volume, the company is now seeking experienced Freight Logistics Services Executive who can look after the end to end Import and/or export Sea Freight process to join their freight operations team in Kelana Jaya.
The job role & Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for coordinating and assigning shipments/container cargo to the rightful destinations. You will ensure that shipments are assigned timely and accurately. The job will involve arranging export shipments from collection through to shipment, arrange import delivery and raise billing/invoices for payment. 
In this role, you will be busy within dynamic environment so the candidate must be efficient and able to adapt to clients' requests. This is a fast paced role and applicants will need a high degree of accuracy and an ability to multi-task.
Line of duties:
*Registration of the job shipment into CargoWise upon booking.
*Booking of space with shipping lines.
*Prepare and issue invoices for Shipments.
*Internal liaison with overseas offices and other departments.
*Liaise with clients to keep them informed of the shipment status.
Requirements: The person
We are looking for female candidates who will have at least a Diploma qualification. She must be computer literate, able to operate MS Word, Excel and Outlook applications.
Candidates with 2-3 years of experience gained specifically within freight forwarding industry would be highly preferred.
EDI CargoWise experience is advantageous.
Strong communication skills, both spoken and written English plus conversant in BM and Mandarin.
Must be willing to be based at Kelana Jaya area.

The incumbent will process/execute documentation required for Air shipments and liaise with origin, Ground Handling agents, Transfer vendors, and consignees.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

One of our customers is looking for a Freight Operations Executive.

This is a full time job working:

12:30-21:00 Mon-Thu 10:00-18:30 Sat

Your Job Role will consist of the below:

To support the Senior Management Team with the ongoing development of the Freight Operations team Support new processes and procedures in order to complete documentation on all aspects of Export jobs. Customs entries in CDS from start to finish. To be a key liaison between departments, specifically warehouse teams.

Exports Create documents for Export from MK origin shipments i.e. MAWB, HAWB Complete Customs declarations for MK origin shipments. Checking for data validity Submission through internal systems Pre-alerts to international Gateways File prep for Whisky/Alcohol shipments from international customers. New business spot quotes, both freight and courier Rate validity with Airlines Planning and arrangement of international consignments according to client instructions and requirements Communication with overseas offices/partners Ensure all enquiries or other communications are actioned promptly and efficiently. Compliance with current national and international legislations and regulations on export controls, HMRC policies, BIS export controls PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN EXPORTS IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE

Job Description, Function & Responsibility:

1. Support sales, manage execution of contracts and implement all operational activities.

2. Co-ordinate and monitor shipments schedule closely and liaise with related parties.

3. Handle all shipping documentations including Letter of Credit (LC) transactions.

4. Upkeep of data in ACCPAC system and maintaining the shipments loading schedule, costing, and any other database required accurately and on time.

5. Analyse and maintain all sales and purchase data/statistics and other shipping/operational details.

6. Verify and process all incoming and outgoing invoices to and from Buyer/Supplier/third party service providers etc. and monitor payment status.

7. Establish good working relationships with customers, suppliers and third party logistic and service providers.

8. To perform other ad-hoc tasks as requested by the immediate superior.

Skills:

1. Possess good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin to liaise with our China-based clients and suppliers.

2. Familiarity with INCOTERM 2020 would be beneficial.

3. Proficiency in navigating operating system interfaces like ACCPAC.

4. Display sound comprehension of both international and domestic trade.

5. Showcase strong track records in operations and supply chain management.
