Overview:

Responsible for review and validation of models used by various groups at M&T for varied purposes, including capital stress testing, risk measurement, pricing and profitability, and management decision-making. Work under the supervision of team lead or manager to validate complex models.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the engagement of third parties to perform validation; and
• Review the results of third-party validation.
• Perform validation and analysis of expert judgment or qualitative factors that augment quantitative models.
•  Review to confirm proper controls and adequate documentation are in place.

Overview:

Provides analysis and completes reports for liquidity risk management reporting to the senior management, including the Asset Liability Committee (ALCO) and the Board of Directors with, limited guidance from senior analysts and manager. Works with senior analysts and manager to improve Liquidity Risk Management (LRM) reporting and assists in simplifying complex operations by independently getting data and other information needed to complete reports.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Update working files with pertinent information from within and outside Treasury. Build partnerships within Treasury and the lines of business to support receipt of this information in a timely manner.
• Learn and increase proficiency in appropriate tools used in preparing and producing reports for LRM. Implement new ideas using these tools based on guidance provided from senior analysts and/or the manager.
