This role within commissioning is responsible for working across and delivering independent and in-house commissions for Chinese (primary) and English (secondary) unscripted content.

This role is important to delivering our strategy, working with both In-House Studio and the External Production Houses to commission content based on a deep understanding of audience needs. Main Responsibilities – Acquisition and Editorial (books and journal projects)

• To acquire book/journal projects, through emails, attending conferences, meetings etc., from authors hailing from reputed institutions in Singapore and worldwide (via emails, phone calls or online meetings). The candidate must have a flair towards meeting authors at local events such as conferences, seminars and workshops. Sufficient guidance will be provided in this regard. Job Description:

· Designs jigs and fixtures as the case may be
· Design for fabrication/ Assembly/ Maintenance
· Research and Development of current or New Products
· Generates manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable standards Interfaces with customers for technical discussion
· Research and analyse customer design proposals, specifications and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
· Specify system components to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications
· Understand the design requirements and create the conceptual design/mechanism for the heavy trucks.
· Generate detailed engineering drawings of the design and prepare the Bill of materials.
· Responsible for the preparation of the manufacturing drawings of the detailed design.
· Conduct Finite Element analysis and kinematics & Dynamics analysis to improve the design performance.
· Engage with the manufacturing team during design stage and manufacturing stage to ensure the smooth transition from design to manufacturing.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Candidate must possess Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and related courses.
· Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Mechanical design or Machine design is required for this position.
· In depth knowledge in CAD/CAE applications such as SOLIDWORKS, CREO, Inventor and Unigraphics etc.
· Ability to work in the fast paced environment and work independently.
· Strong mechanical engineering knowledge and fundamentals including design principles, machine elements, and fabrication methods.

Main Responsibilities:

· Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures

· Ensuring project deadlines are met

· Determining project changes and undertaking project tasks as required

· Developing project strategies

· Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project

· Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable

Requirements:

· Bilingual in English and Mandarin to converse with Mandarin speaking associates

· At least 1 year of relevant work experience

· Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

· Ability to work on tight deadlines
