In this role, you will support other worldwide teams during installation, upgrade, and product issues. You will be part of the Tier 3 support team for a complex enterprise system in the medical devices domain. The team is part of R&D and is responsible for product support at all levels, starting from the interface and up to the end user.

• N/R Lead client meetings to extract and document requirements.

• Develop software, tests, and tools to ease integration in the professional service field.
• Produce and review product documentation and training materials to ensure content accuracy and ability to support company products.
• Transfer customer-specific knowledge and documentation to the support team post successful customer onboarding.

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering/computer science/other relevant
• At least 5 years of experience within a similar role – mandatory

National Records of Scotland (NRS) collects, analyses and publishes a wide range of information about Scotland’s people. These statistics are used to inform policy and funding decisions which affect the lives of everybody living in Scotland. You will be part of the Customer Services and Web Publications branch within the Demographic Statistics Division of NRS. This branch is responsible for managing the publication process for around 40 statistical publications released by NRS each year and the weekly publication of birth and death statistics. The branch also coordinates responses to the 1,000+ enquiries for statistics received each year by NRS, working closely with other statistical branches in NRS. (It is anticipated that there will be an uptick in census-related enquiries over the next couple of years as the detailed results from the 2022 Census are published.)

You will also provide support for a number of cross-Divisional tasks, including budget management and arranging the 6-monthly meetings of the Population and Migration Statistics Committee.

Responsibilities
•Assist on publication of around 40 statistical releases per year and other associated material (such as minutes from external stakeholder meetings and geographic lookups) onto the NRS website.
•Work collaboratively with colleagues including NRS statisticians and IT colleagues to ensure all web publications are of high quality and released on time in line with the Code of Practice for Official Statistics.
•Assist on Statistics Customer Services for NRS. This involves managing the customer services mailbox and being a friendly and helpful “first port of call” for NRS.
•Respond to customer enquiries by providing the key information that customers are looking for and carry out analysis and investigations to provide the information required. This often involves collaborative work with other colleagues in the branch and in other branches within NRS and elsewhere.
•Maintain the customer request logs, take responsibility for workload and prioritise requests where necessary.

Essential Criteria

1. Good working knowledge of Excel.
2. Attention to detail including evidence of high levels of competence in quality assuring numerical and written information under time pressures.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team, the Integrated Admiral Nurse Service as a Secondment or a 12 month Fixed Term contract to work within our Team as an Assistant Practitioner to help and support carers who look after their loved ones who have a diagnosis of dementia.

You will work alongside the Admiral Nurse Clinical Lead and three other Admiral Nurses to contribute to the support that carers and families may need in their own homes, during the hospital stay and across care transitions. You will do this through providing ongoing and compassionate support and guidance and ensuring that carers are signposted appropriately in order to help prevent carer breakdown.

This is a challenging developmental opportunity to make a significant impact on the delivery of the care of families affected by dementia across the dementia care pathway in Cornwall, working across different care settings.



This post has been developed to support the Admiral Nurse Service to provide relationship-centred dementia care to families with complex needs.

Provide a responsive, personalised information, signposting and support service to people living with a diagnosis of dementia, their carers and family in order to help them to navigate and access appropriate services in the right place at the right time.

Support the interface between mainstream general hospital services, community health and social care services and other services across the dementia pathway.

Work collaboratively with healthcare and multi-agency colleagues, supporting the work of the three Admiral Nurses and Admiral Nurse Clinical Lead across the county.

Attend conferences, dementia related events representing the Admiral Nurse Service in a professional and engaging manner.
