• Facilitate submission of research for presentations; work with internal contacts and physicians to prepare scripts, slides, overheads, PowerPoint presentations and manuscripts.
• Aid physicians with technology – literature searches, engineering, LivaNova technology.

Internal Support

• Educates and trains LivaNova personnel, hosting and distributor employees dedicated to Livanova business on technical and clinical matters relating to LivaNova products.
• Maintain open, effective communication with all LivaNova functions, including Regulatory Assurance, Quality Assurance, and Product Development, as well as with all other employees.
• Create and update instructions for use, physician and patient manuals, and other system documentation as required.
• Generate literature/training materials – create tech memos, facilitate Sales and Marketing personnel with Marketing literature review. Create training materials.
• Assist sales to identify and target physicians.
• Handle Field Safety Notice or Recall when necessary as supported by RA/QA.
• Travel may be extensive, up to 80%.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in health care related field or a four-year degree with health care/clinical experience. Advanced degree in health sciences or engineering preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Prior experience of at least 5+ years as a field clinical engineer, technical representative, technology trainer, clinical trainer in epilepsy, medical device or neuromodulation with additional experience.

Overview of the role

You will be accountable for management reporting and commercial & product supply financial analysis for a regional portfolio focused on North East Asia (Japan/South Korea) in Oral Care business where Power Oral Care form dominates. You will provide explanation of variances and key performance drivers, coordinate the consolidation of results across our region for reporting purposes and monthly and quarterly business review presentations. You will participate in forecasting processes, and support in planning and implementing new business initiatives and delivering product supply cost savings. You will craft and provide insightful analysis to support business unit leaders in identifying commercial, product supply and financial improvement opportunities.

Your team

This role reports to the Finance Senior Director and works closely with the Sales/ Marketing/ Supply Chain leader on budgeting, financial planning and analysis.

Responsibilities of the role

• Provide financial leadership to key business partners in Regional Business Unit and Market Operations, across multi-functional teams.
• Lead in cross country-category loss analysis to deliver net savings and drive competitive cost structure to fuel profitable growth for the business.
• Lead financial analysis of category plans, giving business recommendations to leaders.
• Lead in delivering high standards of stewardship in organisation and process workflow.
• Lead in monthly regional financial forecast, accruals and support actual proofing.

Qualifications

• 2 years of proven track record in managing high volume P&L budgets across a matrix organization with high level of agility.
• Experience in markets in North Asia region (i.e. Japan and South Korea).
• Japanese or Korean language fluency preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA/MBA preferred.
• Detailed understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Knowledge of Statutory accounting principles.
• Ability to multi-task and work in an exciting fast paced environment.
• Maturity, integrity, and high level of discretion are required.
• Independent worker and analytical problem solver with an ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve sophisticated problems.
• Strong presence with the ability to interact with Senior Leadership.
• Financial modelling expertise a plus.
• Experience in consumer goods industry and/or eCommerce/digital would be beneficial.
