Gransolar Construction Australia Pty Ltd has successfully tendered for the construction of several solar farms across Australia. Gransolar will provide Engineering, Procurement and Construction services on these important Australian renewable energy projects.

We are currently looking for a PROJECT DIRECTOR as part of our Wellington Solar Farm (NSW) Project.
The PROJECT DIRECTOR is responsible for the management and operations of the Project, the delivery of the Works in accordance with the EPC Contract and the representation of the Project to the Client; and authorized to make day to day operating decisions.

The PROJECT DIRECTOR is responsible for the successful delivery of the Project and efficient management of the Project’s affairs, in particular:

i. Supervising Superintendents in the monitoring construction progress and continuously reviewing the program;

iii. ensure proper and efficient interface between design and construction;

• Preferably 10+ years’ experience in construction estimation, cost planning, tendering
• Multi-discipline estimating experience desirable
• Interpreting specifications and standards & assess the impact on project cost
• Accuracy on assessment of supplier and contract quotes
• Skills in relevant computer software packages
• Excellent communication skills with a strong math aptitude
• Experience in major civil infrastructure, underground design and build a must
• Proficient with Excel spread sheets
• Strong business communication and leadership skills

Annual salary package: $275 - $350K
