Managing ICT Systems

Performing Daily Checks and Implementation

1. Provide technical support to staff and students for iPad personal learning device (PLD)
2. Liaise with iPad PLD vendor for repair or replacement of students’ iPad
3. Liaise with DMA vendor for any technical support for students’ DMA
4. Monthly or Ad-Hoc Wall-to-wall inventory checks
5. Assist HOD ICT in MOE-initiated rollouts and projects

Maintenance of ICT Facilities and Equipment

1. Work with DEs on all issues related to ICT facilities, such as Computer Laboratories and IT Rooms
2. Work with DEs on preparation of ICT facilities and equipment for Laboratories, IT Rooms, PCs and teachers’ notebooks, visualizers, projectors, etc
3. Work with DEs on all issues related to ICT equipment in the school
4. Regular checks on the Log in-out Files in Open Access Computer Labs, Monitoring the Usage of ICT facilities and equipment
5. Liase with external contractors to maintain AV/IT equipment

Administrative Matters

1. To advise teachers and students on the use of ICT for projects and presentations.

4. To advise teachers on software solutions which will solve their problems

Responsibilities – Senior Security Officer

1. Carry out his duties as per the requirements of the deployment site or as instructed by the shift leader or operations manager.

2. Ensure proper taking over and handing over of duties and that all equipment are checked and accounted for before coming on or leaving a shift.

3. Monitor CCTV, central alarm or fire command center as required by the site and to be always alert and vigilant when performing duties and report to the Police of any surveillance or suspicious activities without undue delay.

5. Perform traffic control where necessary to ensure smooth movement of vehicles in and out of the site.
