Purpose of the role:
The purpose of the Electrical Engineer/Site Manager role is to effectively manage and control the agreed contract output specification to the agreed performance and qualitative target at their primary work location. At their primary location, and at all 2 Counties PFI locations when on call or directed to, the Electrical Engineer/Site Manager will effectively support Tascor.
To provide hands on leadership, role modelling and direction to the delivery teams within these deliverables and be accountable for excellent service delivery for each at their primary location

What you'll be doing:
Routine day-to-day building and facility maintenance, including ‘walk about checks’, planned maintenance, emergency repairs, light refurbishment and replacement
Ensure all caretaker/cleaning staff training requirements are met in accordance with current Health & Safety Legislation and Capita Mandatory compliance training requirements.
Ensure that suitable caretaker/cleaning staff levels are maintained at all times to delivery Tascor's obligation under the estates and facilities output specification
Ensure that all service provisions provided by Tascor for the use of the Client are maintained at a suitable level at all times
Undertake remedial electrical activities where identified and required to all Tascor 2 Counties Premises
Gather, review and present accurate report information as and when requested by the Tascor management team
Control of specialist contractors working on site ensuring statutory compliance (e.g., Health and Safety) is adhered to at all times
Work with the Senior Contracts Engineer to ensure the effective delivery of routine/planned preventative maintenance/servicing and repair/making good of mechanical and electrical services, building fabric and furniture, fittings and equipment
Provide support to other Police Investigation Centre facilities in the absence of their usual site manager/engineer
Plan and undertake small to medium electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 IEE Wiring Regulations
To be rostered to undertake ‘on-call’ duties requiring out of hours action. Included within this is the provision of reactive cleaning duties as and when required out of hours as part of your normal on call duties Undertake on-call duties; one week in three
Provide electrical Authorising Person coverage to all six 2 Counties facilities, full training will be given
What we’re looking for:
18th Edition Wiring Regulation Qualified
Electrical Inspection and Testing qualifications
Sound technical knowledge of Electrical Installation
Full Driving Licence (Fully funded company vehicle provided)
Detailed understanding of maintenance programmes – Statutory, Planned and Reactive
BTEC or other maintenance qualifications with previous electrical authorised person experience will be advantages
