Job Description

The Quantum Engineering Programme (QEP) funds research and supports ecosystem building to bring quantum technologies to solve the challenges of end-users. Its work span quantum sensing, quantum communication and security and quantum computing. Launched in 2018, it supports translational research focused on industry challenges and initiatives to nurture a quantum ecosystem.

Coordinated nationally across various research organisations, it is supported by the National Research Foundation, Singapore and the Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Singapore and hosted by the National University of Singapore.

Responsibilities
The Senior Manager / Manager for QEPO will:
1) Develop an understanding of the quantum companies priorities, market demand, industry needs for key sectors under the SNDE and MTC domains, aligned with national strategies/ plans for quantum.
2) Work alongside public research performers (i.e. IHLs and A*STAR RIs) in QEP quantum platforms with the relevant competencies and capabilities to address national and industry needs.
3) Understand and leverage I&E competencies and resources (e.g. funding initiatives and test-bedding /deployment opportunities) of various agencies to advance technology development and translation efforts for QEPO.
4) Identify challenges which may hinder science and technology development and translation efforts for quantum domain, and where necessary, surface these issues to relevant authorities for intervention or resolution.

Overview of the role

Overview

The NUHS Regional Health System (RHS) comprises of NUHS institutions, associated government and regulatory authorities and community partners that work together to look after the health of the population in the West. The Ministry of Health (MOH) has been co-creating SG Health, a population based approach to health and healthcare delivery, with the three healthcare clusters, AIC and HPB, which will be announced in March 2022. NUHS has developed the NUHS Regional Health Plan (NUHS RHP) to carry out its responsibilities. The RHP will be carried out through 7 Strategy Implementation Groups (SIGs) accountable to Deputy Chief Executive (Population Health), supported by Population Health HQ led by ED RHSO and led by SIG Leads and Co-leads. The RHSO is the institution set up to enable the delivery of the NUHS RHP. It provides the organisational, governance and administrative structure for the management of resources, including but not limited to manpower, funding, facilities and technology.

Consumer & Market Knowledge (CMK), will directly influence business strategy, product design, pricing, media investments, and much more. You'll be answering questions like: What should our brands stand for? Who are our target shoppers and how do we best reach them? How can we invent exciting in-store & on-line shopper experiences?

Your Team

You will be part of an Organization Unit based in the Regional HQ (Singapore). You will report to an A&I Senior Director in the Analytics & Insights function and work closely with Brand Management, Finance, Sales, R&D, and others, constantly exploring new opportunities for business growth.

• Your role in A&I function is like an internal, active, and influential business strategy consultant, whose role it is to ensure that consumer and shopper analytics and insights are the foundations of our business strategy and execution.
• Your key to success will be your ability to build on and combine soft skills with analytical skills, and use integrative thinking to convey research findings to drive actions with your key business partners across levels and functions.

Responsibilities

• Developing a brand master plan
• Deriving communication insights and developing media strategy
• Owning an analytics exercise on retail science for a sales channel

Job Requirements

• Bachelors or Master’s degree
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the FMCG industry
• Ability to demonstrate, translate and communicate sophisticated algorithms into simple conclusions and business actions
• Good data-led story telling skillset which allows you to influence the business
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work within diverse organizations and teams

• Source for new prospects and recommend suitable marine products/integrated systems and services for sea worthiness.
• Manage and analyse sales leads to create and forecast the business plan for the potential customers.

Requirements:

• Experience as Ex-Sailors, Ex-Radio Officers, or Ex-Navy personnel are added advantages.
• Respectable network and customer contacts with local and regional shipyards and ship owners.

Requirement

• Preferably with audit experience, Big 4 prior experience preferable

• Able to work within tight reporting deadlines under a fast paced environment
