Job Overview:
Provide Quality Assurance support and independently manage assigned Quality Events in accordance with the IQVIA Process/System requirement. Provide consultation in interpretation of regulations, guidelines, policies, and procedures. Support management in promotion and assessment of compliance to regulations, guidelines and corporate policies, lead/support in QA initiatives/projects for quality process improvements.

Essential Functions:

• Review, approve investigations, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) and Effectiveness Check (EC) plans and track till closure for medium/high-risk/complex quality events arising from Quality Issues, Audits, Inspections or during similar QA activities

• Evaluate policies and procedures for compliance with applicable regulations/guidelines and provide recommendations to management for continuous process improvements

• Provide consultation to internal stakeholders in interpretation of audit/inspection observations and formulation of corrective action plans 

• Assist in training/Onboarding of new Quality Assurance staff

• Provide guidance to operational staff on compliance procedures when required

• Manage/oversee quality events updates in eQMS and/or Maintains the electronic quality management system (eQMS) and provides support in relation to the Quality Events lifecycle

• Lead/collaborate/support in QA initiatives/projects for quality, process improvements/departmental goals 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree Pref

• 5+ years experience in pharmaceutical, technical, or related area, of which 3 years in Quality Assurance. GCP and/or GVP experience. Equivalent combination of education, training and experience. 

• Knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, and database applications..

What You Will Do:

The Health Information Management (HIM) Auditor ensures the integrity of data in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Audits, analyzes and reports on data within the Electronic Health Record.

• Structures and organizes data integrity audits. Assists in the development of audit tools and data models in collaboration with appropriate technical groups. Develops any education tools necessary to ensure quality data is captured.

• Conducts and monitors audits and distributes audit tools. Works with clinics to ensure meaningful data capture. Educates staff, as needed, on the principles of meaningful use. Troubleshoots issues and adjusts audit processes, as necessary.

• Compiles and analyzes audit findings. Notes trends and patterns in EHR data. Develops standardized reports, incorporating data from other sources, as appropriate. Reports EHR data issues to management.

• Collaborates with other departments as requested to provide guidance and expertise related to data integrity issues.

• Performs other duties, as assigned.

What will I be doing?

Working for Diageo as an Auditor, you will be visiting pubs in your area checking our client's products. Your new company
Your new company is a global, Top 15 firm of Chartered Accountants who are looking to expand their Public Sector audit team. This firm provides a range of services to clients including audit & assurance, accounting and advisory services. They also work with a variety of clients from different sectors including financial services, not-for-profit and technology to name a few. This firm is looking for a newly or part qualified (3 papers or less) Auditor to join the busy team in London.


Your new role
Your new role within the public sector team at the Top 15 Chartered Accountants will include the duties and responsibilities listed below:

• Provide on-site support for our audit clients to include planning, day to day managing of workload and liaising with clients
• Opportunity to complete audit assignments, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with new and established clients such as local authorities, NHS trusts, universities, charities and central government departments
• Work and collaborate with other members of the audit team and the wider department as necessary to provide high quality client service
• Some assignments may require travel as you work more closely with some of your audit clients

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have some Public Sector experience or have an interest in working within the sector. Below are some other attributes that are desirable for the role;

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or 3 papers remaining until qualification
• Recent audit experience within a UK Chartered Accountants- some accounts prep experience is also desirable
• Experience leading audits from planning to completion, including a small team reporting into you on engagements
• Good working knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards any IFRS experience would be a bonus
• Ideally, you will have strong software skills, including the Microsoft packages and Pro-Audit
• Strong communication skills

Your new role
You will be working within the busy London audit team; you will be working with clients from a variety of sectors and some of your duties and responsibilities are labelled below:

• Preparation and review of statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP/FRS102
• Reporting to an audit manager and/or Partner and being responsible for the planning and execution of the audits (which cover a wide range of client types and sizes) in accordance with the International Auditing Standards
• Working within budget and bringing the audits to completion
• Ensuring client expectations are managed accordingly
• Supervising audit trainees, reviewing their work, assisting with their development, and dealing with their performance evaluations
• Drafting corporate tax computations

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, ideally you will have the attributes and skills listed below:

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)

The Auditor serves as the auditor-in-charge coordinating the work of lower-graded auditors and independently conducts the full range of internal auditing assignments.

In this position, you will:

• Perform or lead audits using appropriate audit techniques, analyze data to support findings, and develop recommendations to correct deficiencies.
• Conduct reviews, manage the work of subordinate team members, and provide advice and direction where necessary.
• Prepare final draft reports detailing findings and making recommendations for corrective action.
• Meet with management officials to present findings, explain the significance of conclusions, and justify recommendations.

• Advise and assist the Supervisory Auditior in developing and recommending audit and other oversight policies, procedures and innovative approaches based on techincal expertise and operating experience.
• Recommends oversight activities based on program significance and assessed level of audit and program risk, subject to resource limitations and program objectives issued by the Inspector General
• Identify, coordinate and conduct multiple audits and audit related assignments.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with individuals and/or groups at all levels of government, the public and private sector.
• Prepare and consolidate analyses of written summaries of others to develop draft audit findings and complete draft audit reports.

Starting at $112,015 Per Year (PG 13)

• Conduct assessments of internal control and other reviews in accordance with Office of Management Budget Circular A-123.
• Develop and present review findings to Office of the Chief Financial Officer and Program Management, along with related recommendations.
• Provide technical support and analyses to program and mission support offices on risk management and internal control issues.
• Obtain, analyze, and review various risk data and information applicable to program and mission support offices.
• Draft policies and work instructions for areas of responsibility.
• Assist in developing and implementing necessary training and informational briefings.
