Position Summary:

The role of an Operations Executive in freight forwarding is crucial to ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods from one location to another. Operations Executives in this field are responsible for managing various aspects of the logistics process, from the initial booking to the final delivery. About the role

With growing customer accounts and demands in Aerospace, we are assembling a team of Customer Service Executives to deliver visibility, proactivity, optimization and high level of customer satisfaction to our major Aerospace account. What you will be doing

Monitor Operational Workflow to Ensure a Full Supply Chain Visibility to the Customer

• Receive and control customer bookings according to the processes in place
• Check optimizations from Optimizer if applicable and propose consolidation options
• Assign customer booking to a selection of freight forwarding agents (3PL)
• Monitor shipments on regular basis (3PL shipment confirmation, milestones completion etc.)
• Drive corrective actions when required (missing event etc.)
• Monitor delays and deliveries events using the dedicated IT solutions (internal or external TMS, BI…)
• Alert the customer team proactively in case of deviation and propose backup solutions

• Assist Section Head to maintain and develop the growth of Key Accounts.
• Assist Section Head / Sales team follow up on business prospect.
• Timeliness and accuracy on handling business inquiries as per Quality System KPI.
• Build and foster collaboration with internal teams involved in service delivery.
• Build and proactively manage trust relationships with Key Accounts.
• Go beyond clients' core business to identify new opportunities.
• Be abreast of SGS new products and services and propose them to customers as appropriate.
• Assist on Debtors collection to meet DSO target.
• Adherence to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by uphold a good safety behavior and exercising necessary standard and process when always carry out your responsibilities to ensure compliance to the HSE requirements.
• Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior Management

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual sales calls to potential customers primarily in Mandarin, promoting and selling life insurance products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and follow-up.
• Understand clients' needs and provide suitable insurance solutions to meet their requirements.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) set by the company.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, product knowledge, and competitors' offerings to effectively position our products.
• Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using the company's system.
• Continuously enhance sales skills and knowledge through training and professional development opportunities.

• Fluency in Mandarin is essential, both spoken and written.
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a virtual environment.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in virtual communication tools and CRM software.
• Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
