Job Description:

The Finance Executive role provides a clear path to becoming a Senior Finance Executive in the media and advertising industry, offering career advancement opportunities based on performance.

You will be reporting to the Regional Finance Manager and your primary objective will be to support the Finance team by managing a complete set of accounts for the group.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full spectrum of accounts payable and receivable functions including processing of sales invoices and arranging payments to suppliers.
• Assist the Finance Manager in the month-end closing.
• Maintain GL accounts and prepared accounting schedules.
• Ensuring reconciliations, journal, and general functions are performed effectively and efficiently.
• Prepare GST returns every quarter.
• Engage in payroll operations such as commission and staff claims.
• Responsible for generating specific reports as requested by our Global Finance HQ.
• Liaising with external auditors.
• Other duties as required by the Finance Manager.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience in the media or advertising industry.
• Minimum LCCI higher, diploma, degree, or professional qualification in Accountancy.
• Experience with the Quickbooks system will have an added advantage.
• Good verbal and written communication skills as you will be liaising with inter-department colleagues.
• Meticulous, able to work independently as well as being a good team player.
• Other attributes include being honest, responsible, trustworthy, organised, and good at multitasking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office especially good with pivot tables.
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to start work immediately or within short notice preferred.
